Nikon Nikkor 35-70mm f/2.8D AF Lens

Classic Nikon zoom, with the great characteristic of constant f2.8 aperture throughout the zoom range. Works nicely on digital bodies, giving roughly a 50-105mm focal length. Solidly constructed and with an aperture ring which will be a boon for film camera users.

The design is at least a decade old and originally designed for film cameras, and whilst giving really sharp images it doesn't handle flare as well as something like a 17-35mm 2.8 Nikkor. Neither does it focus as quickly, being a non-AF-S lens.

Having said that, it is reasonably priced given that it is a Nikkor and will hold its price better than a similar lens from an independent manufacturer.
