As a bias Queen Fan I would obviously say that this is a brilliant album. I originally bought this album when I first became a fan in 1978.I have now just upgraded it to CD!!
This is an album that mainly fan's would appreciate however due its drastic mood changing style and hits like "We Will Rock You" ,"We Are The Champions","It's Late" and Spread your wings I am sure that if you like Queen Music then you should like this one. Best Track ..."It's Late"...Worst Track..."Get Down Make Love".
before i begin; before i discuss how i feel, i would like to share the album with you. it's possibly Queen's softest, smoothest album to date - regardless of the album track. Freddie's voice soars above any alternative and the whole album is enough to entertain a whole party of people; from the softest before-its-time 80's rock (not bad for the 70's) songs of All Dead All Dead to the rockingest We Will Rock You to the calming Melancholy Blues (a personal favourite) and the rest.
Sealed and in perfect condition. It was half the price I would have paid in a shop. I bought this CD, as my X took all the CD's with him, ones I had before we met and after. I am trying to re-build my collection of music again. Which as you can imagine is an expensive business from scratch.
Quite probably their last great album until the brilliant swansong Innuendo. Two stadium rock classics in We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions, great Taylor and Deacon compopsitions in Sheer Heart Attack, Spread Your Wings and Who Needs You. It's Late rocks and the album closes with My Melancholy Blues. The only real stinker (and every Queen album seems to have at least one!) was Get Down, Make Love which for some reason seemed to remain in their live sets until at least 1982.
