A great set of programmes, but I can't help feeling deja-vu having watched Heroes. Okay, it is a good story, and the genetic experiment bit gives it more credibility, but it still beggars the question, which came first? That said, it's still an enjoyable series to watch, and still worth the money..

Excellent beginning to the cult sci-fi show about genetically modified humans who have developed super powers. It can be very corny and unintentionally funny at times but it is also endearing with five main complex and well-written characters and a cartoon-sytle genius baddie. The special effects are cool and the actors are great stunt and martial arts performers.
Some standout episodes here are 'Kilohertz' and 'I scream the body electric' where we join and truly feel for new mutant Emma as she accepts her new life with the Mutant X team.
