Monty Python And The Holy Grail (DVD 2002)

They don't make 'em like this anymore. I had forgotten how good a film this is, there was a time when I knew quite a lot of the words and I look forward to re-learning them.

this is classic pythorn at its best i bought this film because i love the pythorn series and also its a bit on history as well

this is probably the best monty python film ever finding it on dvd meant i had to add this film to my collection

simple as that, pure class! Monty Python still remain the funniest comedy collective of any time. This is there master piece you would be doing your self a miss service not to watch/own it!

I bought this 2disc dvd coz' its well-wick and minty plus i've already got Life of Brian and Meaning Of Life i felt like I needed to buy it because i looooove Monty Python gang especially michael palin, eric idle and john cleese. I dislike nothing really!!! thanks person i just bought The Holy Grail from hope to buy something else from you in the future!!!

Low budget, but amazingly funny! Would recommend!

I bought this DVD because it's one of my favourite films and a classic! Hilarious scenes such as the Knights who say Ni and the savage man eating rabbit are favourites and all considered I think this film is one of the funniest ever made and has not dated at all!

This merry romp though the legend of King arthur and the Holy Grail will leave you laughing.

The MP team encounter brave knights of old who can also sing and dance when needed, a killer rabbit, a 3 headed giant, the right way to detect a witch and important information about the flight pattern of a swallow and its ability to carry a coconut and many more mad scenes pull you into a time of quest for the sacred Holy Grail that is still going on today.

I preferred this film to any other of the Python productions. Having recently read Michael Palins' book of diaries and knowing the problems involved, it is a wonder it was ever made. Thank God it was! Even the beginning titles are a treat. The clever mixture of medieval and modern day life is surprising at first (especially The Historian), but only adds to the absurdity of the film. As ever with Python, they have got the soundtrack exactly right and Neil Innes' songs are great too. My favourite part is The Knights of Ni. I have never been an Elvis fan but he went up in my estimations when I learned that this was one of his favourite films. Apparently he liked to impersonate The Knights of Ni and it is one of my deepest regrets that I will never witness this spectacle! I was fortunate to buy the two disc version - there are too many extras to list so you'll just have to go and buy it for yourself!

its a classic and hilarious film, with all the genius monty python trademarks. i was very pleased that i recieved a proper copy, i.e not pirate. good quality dvd.

no complaints really.. great price, delivery time and condition.. do i need a reason to buy Monty Python? they're the funniest people.. in the history of time.. and i recently saw their musical Spamalot.. which everybody must see before they die.. yes indeed.. it's amazing.. anyway.. cheers!

its an all time great and not to be missed. any one who likes and loves comedy must watch. i was not a big fan the python tv shows but the films holy grail and this i think are very cool.

this film is one of the funniest movies ever made, it is second, only to LIFE OF BRIAN. this movie is still brilliant.

If you read this, remember watch the "knights of the round table" scene. it is histerical

This film has to be the greatest movie of all time!

Following King Arthur's quest for the Holy Grail with his trusty knights (and "horse" Patsy), we see the gang bravely, or not so in the case of sir Robin, deal with the black knight, the knights who say "Ni", and who could forget the periolous Castle Antrax!

A must for all serious DVD collectors!

Classic python humor. The dvd has some excellent extra feature as well which are both funny and interesting, especially if you like python.

this is the best monty python film by far, even tho when they made it they never had a budget of horses, the lack of them make it even more funny lol

THE FILM AS DATED AND MATURED SUPERBLY AND UNLIKE ALOT OF COMEDY FILMS YOU CAN WATCH THIS ONE OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND NEVER GROW TIRED OF IT
