The Xbox was a good games console for its day, and there are some really good titles that are still fun to play. Most of the older consoles tend to work more reliably then the newer ones (Crystal Xbox) released later on (dependant on how they have been treated). There are some classic games out there that are truly worthy of any games collection, but remember backwards compatibility on the Xbox 360 console, means some of these will play on an Xbox 360. Around 50% of sellers that sell new games, the games are not new the discs have been cleaned and they are resealed in plastic (no seal of authenticity). Most consoles sold as new have been opened and used, and just boxed up and are sold on (and do not necessarily work properly / could have intermittent faults) so buyer beware. Must have titles include: Halo, Halo 2, Doom 3, Splinter Cell (all the games are good), Thief Deadly Shadows, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (for Buffy fans essential, for everyone else enjoyable), Burnout (games), Max Payne 2, and many more.

I bought this product to replace the DVD-ROM drive to fit into my other Xbox as a new one would of cost £25 + P&P. So you might as well buy a cheap console for spares or repairs. This item was supposed to be in excellent condition as per the seller. When I took it back home, this unit could of been cleaned when forwarding on to buyer as I wouldn't dare leave it in the condition it was. It was scratched & the rubber bungs on the bottom that prevents scratching surfaces were missing. At least it worked which was the main thing. When I emailed the seller, in her opinion it was in excellent condition, now if that was a car & she said that, I would of never have bought the car from her words.

The product was alright. It was acording to specification. I'm enjoying it well now. Just a few bit and pieces to put in place. An excellent transaction though.

I had some games given to me over the years but never bought the box, glad I did.

I bought this for my son as a birthday present as he had been wanting one for sometime and as he was coming up too 7 year's old i thought it would be perfect for him, And he love's it, it's great for hand eye coordination, and solving puzzle's and the graffic's are excellent not too strong for little one's eye's. So over all i rate this a Excellent console.

The arrival of the product was very fast, and it was packaged very well. Very reasonably priced, would definitely use the seller again.

The console is absolutely phenomenal! The graphics are superb and the gameplay is just something else. In terms of games, my personal recommendations are The Darkness and Gears of War. This console is a must-have, especially for the upcoming Halo 3!

They are a few years old now and they have stopped making new games for them but the quality and range of existing titles makes it worth getting and seeing as you can now pick one up for less than £20, there is no reason not to grab one, even if its just for the kids room or something.

My son loves playing on it. We have an XBOX 360 in the diningroom but he wanted to be able to play in his playroom so i got him a XBOX with 4 controllers so he can play with his friends. He is well happy!

Not much more can be said about this , but at about 15-20 pound for the console - (I payed 44 inc p&p with 14 games,remote and 8mb memory card) you just cant go wrong. I purchased this to play PGR on and at this sort of money who needs a 360 :). GO GET ONE FOR OLD TIMES SAKE :).

It is fun to play on keeps big kids and little kids happy for hours. I have just brought a second one for my eldest son because he is always wanting to play on his dads so he no has one coming for his birthday

After a variety of gaming consoles had been through my house, it was time to try this one, mostly because GTA4 was coming out. It is a heavy machine, but the wireless controller is a must. No more tripping over wires, and bringing the box down with it, although the original xbox had a disconnecting system to avoid such accidents, this is the ideal solution.
The graphics are amazing as you would expect, and the internet connection is a must as GTA4 could only be played after it was connected and a update patch downloaded into the machine.
One small unfortunate problem which is so typical of these type of products, is that the three pin plug provided, would not connect to the power supply box. At first we thought we would have to return it as faulty, but thankfully also included in the box was a connection for a two pin plug, which did connect to the supply box, and I just happened to have a two pin plug adapter in the house.
It is a great machine if you can get it working, but I would advise anyone getting it to have and assortment of adapters handy, and don't get it unless you are broadband ready.
