Beetles bugs snails and more. This is close up photography at its best. I have purchased 3 copies of this for family is is so good. Favourite scenes, The snails - sensual wonderment, you'll never pour salt on them again! Ants at the water hole - brilliant, Scarab and dung ball total dedication to the task. It is a truely magnificent piece of film work- faultless. Just wish there was more.
More than just a documentary about insects. This film is artistic and poetic. Beautyfull picture. Very relaxing moment to send when you watch this film. 10 years on, haven't really aged. If you like it also recommend Migrating wings by the same director.
Another amazing film. It starts as if it is being filmed through your eyes. - You are flying through clouds, coming lower as time goes on. Excellent music - You break through the clouds and see the ground. Lower........ Lower......... You see a field......... You go lower...... through the grass....... lower - You land.
You are seing the world from your eyes but you are amazingly small. Ants are like dinosaurs. A raindrop would quench your thirst for a long time.
A view of a small section of a field. May be only a metre square but how full of life is it?
You see insects taking a drink from a single raindrop, caterpillars marching in order.
