System Of A Down - Mezmerize (Parental Advisory) [Digipak] [PA] (CD 2005)

i had this album when it first came out but it was stolen from work. anyway i just bought the album from ebay and i cannot believe how much i missed it! it is an amazing album in everyway. quality, i love it! check out serj tankian's new album! turn it up!!!

I bought this CD as a gift for my brother for christmas. I saw the ebay shop where it was being sold and after seeing all the positive feedback i purchased the item.

Although a gift i have listened to the CD myself and is a good album from System of a Down. With their unique style of music singing about things such as politics to crazy random songs.

Reccomended for any person into System of a Down or somebody who is looking for a band that will help them break into the metal/rock genre.

Excellet album ,everyone should have a copy, not just system of a down fans, but everyone should listen to this

This is without a doubt System of a Down's best album, all the tracks of this album are excellent, very good for an headbang.

Great band, great!!! price! Was looking for album on high street, tried a few places, didnt like price or not in stock! Got smart, logged on to my ebay account, typed in keywords,got loads of hits at prices less than I was willing to pay (including S&H )Got her very quick, what more can I say ?

My faveourite S.O.A.D album. this album has a wide range of music from heavy and quick to well... heavy and slow a truely brilliant album

What the review below this one says is most accurate in my opinion. I would not say that it is samey at all - i think only somone with VERY limited musical knowledge would say the tracks sound the same (or a poor stero of course hehe). The rhytmic changes are a fasanating way to break the music, and also hi-light the fact that SOAD are, technically, very good musicsians. Also, I think that the harmonies in this album are better than any of their other albums, and if you are an audiophile, you will certainly appreciate the high quality of the recordings and the production in general. This is NOT SAMEY, technically amazing, harmonically great music that is well written and produced to boot. To anyone that thinks Nirvana are a bit heavy, I'd say steer clear. If you like heavier music (and this is by no means the heaviest) then I would say BUY BUY BUY this album. It kicks :)

Part of a 2 piece set, Mezmerize is the album which completely changed my perspective and taste on alot of music and got me into liking system of a down. If you are already a metal fan then you would probably be better off trying the self titled album or toxicity which are heavier, but otherwise go for this. It has everything from slow melodic tunes like soldier side and lost in hollywood through to heavy and intense, high speed songs like BYOB and Cigaro. Every track is fantastic in its own way. I will agree that it is quite repetitive at first, but when you get to know the tracks and SOAD's unique sound you will love it. It became #1 in a wide variety of countries and has topped the billboard 200 chart.
