Film favourite Eddie Murphy stars as wisecracking hostage negotiator Scott Roper, whose unorthodox but winning ways make him a formidable force in San Francisco's police department. Along with his Harvard graduate rookie partner (Michael Rapaport), this mismatched pair talks their way out of crisis after crisis. But when his girlfriend is taken hostage by a brutal psychopath bent on revenge, even Scott's skilled silver tongue can't change his desperate situation. Metro starred Eddie Murphy one of his better films i thought more action packed then comedy based. I really enjoyed watching it.
