Men Of Honour (DVD 2002)

I bought it as it was a film that I had wanted to see for a long time. It is an excellent film with great actors.
The story is great as are the diving clips, and what it would have been like back in the 1950's.
There was nothing I disliked about this film, and I would recommend anyone who is looking at it to buy it. One of those great classic films that will never date.

ive looked every where for this film bcause it came out in 2002 no one any where had it so i went on to ebay and i found it its the sort of film u could watch over and over again even my children have sat done and watched it with me and my husband i would recamend it to anyone

I bought this for my daughter who already had it on video but didn't have a video player. The price was the reason I bought it for her and the postage cost was excellent. The film is brilliant, she watches it regularly and gives it to friends to watch.

Men of Honour is a great classic movie to have in your collection and watch every now and again. It inspires one to hold on and to stand strong int he midst of adversity and ridicule. A definite must have!

Carl Brashear, played by Cuba Gooding Jr., lets nothing stand in his way.
The son of a Kentucky sharecropper, Carl leaves home for what he expcets to be a better life. "Never quit....be the best," his father told him, and Carl takes those words to heart.

He joins the newly intergrated Navy and applys to become a Navy diver in the elite division used for search and rescue. Carl's training officer, Billy Sunday, played by Robert De Niro, wants no part of Carl or his ambitions. He drives Carl beyond the level of normal endurance in an attempt to get him to falter and quit.
Over time, the two men establish a respect that will ultimately see them battling alongside each other as they must fight to protect their honour and their lives.

Starring Academy Award winning actors, Cuba Gooding Jr and Robert De Niro, Men Of Honour is an inspirational story about human spirit and determination.

The first time I watched the film, I really felt for the guy they had portrait, how he had to overcome everything, because that was what he was taught from a young age, and how he had achieved every obstacles that came across and dealt with them. Very entertaining and heart warming.

My husband and I both enjoyed this film, bought it more for hubby bu t I really enjoyed it. Would certainly recommend it.

Excellent story about discrimination at the highest levels in the American Navy.
Purchased it afer seeing it on TV.

Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format.
top film,and out of this world actors

This film just blew my mind away,it really shows how peaple used to be those day,its just brill, i recomend you watch it or even buy it.
Acing is superb especiall by robert de niro.
