Madagascar (DVD)

This is a fantastic film which can definately hold its own against films like Shrek, Finding Nemo etc.

The penguins definately steal the film with their escape plans ~ if you like the penguins watch out for their Christmas Caper, a short cartoon film with just them in ~ fantastic!!!

This film is perfect for you to just sit & have a good laugh with the kids, or even on your own :0)

very good dvd, my daughter has watched it lots already, very quick delivery and in good condition...

An absolute classic for all the family with the usual subtle one liners and take offs from others films!

Its the story of a lion, giraffe, hippo and zebra who live in a zoo.

The zebra yearns to visit "the wild", this is the story of what he found when he got there!

Fantasic we adored this film!

I seem to be in disagreement with all the other reviews of this film but I just hated this film - not actually sure why - weird disturbing lemurs, frenetic LOUD zebra, strange resolution to problem of the lion's diet..I don't know, just found the film..exhausting and weird. Must admit tho', my children liked it..!

We bought this as a replacement, as our son scratched the first one!
He has watched it so many time's, as have we...no choice really!
you can't help but laugh at it time after time!
Fun for the whole family!

Another great film from dreamworks. Good for young and old alike. Towards the end there are a couple of moments that very young children may find a little scary, but they don't last long and there is of course the 'happy ending'.
Well worth buying.

Brought it for my son who loves watching all the animal characters and the listening to the music.Not so entertaining for adults not one I could watch over too many times, whereas my son could.

A great movie all round - my girlfriend hates movies but even she enjoyed it and even remained awake. Fun for all the family

This DVD is simple perfect, very contemporary in the making, rather witty but not so that it ruins it for the young ones, my baby is not even 4 and he loved it from the start, so I would say "Highly reccomended, makes VERY enjoyable viewing time and again!"

My son originally had this as collectors DVD with Penguins Christmas but lost the Madagascar DVD and has gone on & on about it ever since so finally bought a replacement & he was watched it about 10 times this week!! Real family film really funny great for all ages because my 3 year old loves the animals and music and my 8 year old gets all the jokes too.

A fantastic film. It has excellent animation and hilarious characters. We all absolutely love it and my two little boys insist on watching it again and again. A great family movie - highly recommended.

Brought for my little boy who absolutly loves it watches it time and time again. reason for buying it it was full of animals and fun which my little boy loves.

i love all the animals in it and the story and a real bargain because it was a lot cheaper on ebay than in a shop

I really couldnt wait for the release of this DVD. This film is amazing. The scenery is gorgeous, the characters are fabulous but the storyline at first makes you think 'what is this film gonna be like.' Don't be fooled by the story. It works really well and believe me you will be laughing right through. Every character has it's own unique way about them that is fuuny but you'll definately be laughing at the penguins. This film is at the top with Shrek and Wallace and Gromit. Believe me, if you liked previous Dreamworks films (Shrek 2, Shark Tale, Wallace and Gromit e.t.c) you'll love this. Take my word for it and if you're still not convinced, just check out what other Amazon customers have had to say. Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant. Definately one to have in your DVD collection. Finally, another animated film for all ages!!!

EXCELLENT ANIMATION! GREAT FUN FOR ALL THE FAMILY!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!EVEN THOUGH MY SON IS ONLY 11 MONTHS OLD, HE FOUND THE ANIMATION VERY AMUSING AND HE ACTUALLY KEPT WATCHING DESPITE NOT UNDERSTANDING THE FILM!

This is a firm favourite for my baby son,who is 2 and a half and has watched this for what seems like forever!!!We have just worn out our 2nd copy of it!

this film of madagascar was absolutely excellent.It was sooo funny.We all really loved the storyline and the happy ending.Absolutely brill.!!

An excellent, well thought out, very amusing cartoon - suitable for adults as well! This was enjoyed by the whole family.

This is one of those movies you can watch again & again and if you have young kids then you know that is exactly what you are going to be doing! I love the fact that there is plenty of adult humour that is unoffensive but still goes way above the kids heads. There really is not much to dislike about it, hey I have even watched it in Chinese which was still funny and I can't speak Chinese! I decided to buy it as my bilingual daughter loves this movie and I wanted to watch it in English. It was also a really good price through ebay.

One for the children, really. Madagascar doesn't really have the aldult subplot like Toystory and the like, but a good sunday evening family film, that the children will enjoy again and again.

i won the auction 4 the dvd , but ave never received it , the buyer informed me she ad not received my first postal order payment, i then sent another postal order as this was to be an xmas present, the seller emailed me to say the second p o ad not arrived, i sent other p orders 4 ebay sellers they av received their payments. i should not av sent 2 postal orders .

Purchase followed grandchild request for Christmas. Light hearted, funny and an ideal way to allow the digestion to recover after seasonal festivities! Enjoyed by all who watched it.
