Comical and well acted by a truley fantastic British Cast.

Films like this always of interest me. I think that there are lots of American set gangster films, but the UK gangster set films have a certain quintessentially British dash of panache. If your a fan of brit flicks like the krays or gangster No1, then you probaly are going to like this film

this is the classic english gangster film comedy dry humour takes a couple of watches then you are completely hooked.

A great London gangster movie with some brilliant characters played by great actors and with an excellent witty script. Hillarious!

Just awsome the cast are quality the story line is good and you dont stop laughing, already seen but its a must you never get tired of watching films like this

One of the funniest films from UK sourced entertainment.. The viagra scene had me in tears.. as for the "I'm like a lethal weapon.. go on try and stab me....! " in the pub scene well...

Id seen this film before, but decided to watch it again, great acting, laugh out loud funny yet English gangsters at there best! Ray Winston excellent as always! What do people see in Sadie frost? They all use there real first names! Quirky! Great one for the collection!

This movie is a Best of British, it has a wealth of british stars with Ray Winstone, Jude Law, Sean Pertwee, Kathy Burke, Sadie Frost, Denise Van Outten, Rhys Ifans who is brill in this and Jonny Lee Miller who plays the lead role.
Its based on a feud started by Jonny (north London firm) and south London. If you like films like, The Long Good Friday, Snatch, Layerake, Lock Stock and Two Smokin Barrels, you will love this film. It comes with a great sound track to top it off..

Interesting British film with plenty of genuine cockneys and action to keep you guessing what was gonna happen next. A lot of comedy one liners but some unnecessary violence which will put some people off. Not a happy ending but as they say CRIME DOES NOT PAY !!

Ray Winstone at his best as a London gangster,a role made easier by an excellent supporting cast.Both funny and violent a must see film if you are a R.Winstone fan.

when the film first starts the initial impressions are that its a strange movie, could be about gangsters, could just be a random movie, after the karaoke however it gets into the film which is a pretty simple storyline basically stating that north and south london gangsters are meant to get along but in the long and short of it all, they dont. there is always something going on between the two gangs, not always the bosses but the gang members having problems with other gang members from the opposing gang.

there is lots of action, plenty of banter, enjoyable enough london gangster film and doesnt feel like its just another lock, stock or snatch. the cast is probably actually the best bit of the film, without them it wouldnt be what it is. i would though recommend watching this if you like hard-but-soft gangster films, will find it entertain, even writing this now thinking about the film loads of scenes are springing up in my mind and actually making me chuckle! anyway, hope you enjoy it, dont be too put off by the clown and initial strange outlook!

this film is great i absolutely love the songs in it and the characters that are used in it i goes down very well with the story line. i decided to buy it because i watched it while back and was looking for my first item to buy on ebay. i am very pleased that i remebered this film and brought it because it is brilliant.

this film is a proper english comedy with the daddy ray winstone and the great kathy burke are just two of the all star cast.this film is a must have for ray winstone fans and for those who like a good laugh.

One of the funniest films you will ever see...
This is a brit flick that has clearly been shot with a shoe string budget but has such a fantastic script this is easily forgotten. All the main characters instantly draw you into the story and you understand and empathize with each individually.
Full of hilarious scenes, sub plots and one liners it keeps your interest from start to finish.
To end with any film that has Denise Van Outen demonstrating her felatio technique on a cucumber is immediately worthy of a watch... Terrific

The acting and comedy rolled into one made me enjoy the film.
It was good to see actors that have been around a long time and in films and tv series from when I was young I recognised them straight away.
This film was recommended to me by a friend and I will certainly pass on the recommendation to others.

a brilliant film and i bought the film as im a great fan of ray winston i think hes georgeous, and the one i got from e bay was in perfect condition inside and out, and would recomend any one to try e bay

I purchased this film as it is a long time favourite film of mine, I used to own it on video but that got damaged. This film is very difficult to find as not many shops sell it.

loved it watch it again,again brilliant.Have several brit flicks this is up there with the best of them.Great cast, ray winston is tremendouse as usual in his role as the boss.

One of the greatest British comedy films ever. If you like this then buy Operation Goodguys, written by Dom and Ray and starring most of the same cast as Love honour and obey.

Apart from the fact the dishy Ray Winstone looks as sey as ever, there are 101 other reasons to buy this film. It is very very funny, a great Brit film and one you can watch over and over again. I love the karaoke pieces, Sean Pertwee doing Fireball XL5 is fantastic and Avenue and Alleyways is classic! Lines like "I think i've broken a bone in me cock" and "you're fat i'll throw you in the river" are real gems. Buy it and you won't be dissapointed

I saw this film when it was first out in 2000 and fancied buying it on DVD. It's in the same area as lock stock and two smoking barrels, snatch and essex boys. I am a fan of Ray Winstons movies and this is him having a laugh with a load of other odd actors.

If your looking for a ideal chrismtas present for someone into their gangster movies then this is it.

its a great film i watch it before and tryed to getit in the shops its like the old way where i live now use to be its funny and are the actors etc are great i think its excellent
