I bought the TrackMan for use with my laptop as I am allergic to the standard pointing device and mice don't work too well on the arm of a chair. I had been using a Trackman Marble but found that the symmetrical layout (using the ball with the index finger)was not accurate enough for graphic work and it lacked a scroll wheel. The Trackball is better as the layout allows the use of the middle three fingers in the same way as a mouse while the thumb is able to perform with a degree of accuracy on the ball. All it really requires is the addition of the two extra programmable buttons of the Marble (copy and paste in my case)and the scroll wheel button to be fully programmable e.g. double click to make it a very good product. As it is it is just good.
It is much easier to use than a standard mouse. This particular one is wireless which makes it even more versatile. Once you have used one of these you will never want to go back to an ordinary mouse. I fail to understand why this type of mouse is not the standard.
i love these logitech ,i cannot get used to the old fashion mouse ,these are great ,no wires .i had to use a old fashion mouse when i was waiting for my new logitech and it was horrible
superb mouse, never gets stuck, runs so smoothly, would not go back to an original mouse with the rollerball on the bottom. Would recommend to everyone!
