Logik LPD850 Portable DVD Player with Screen

This was bought for my 4 year old who likes to watch DVDs on my rather expensive Mac Powerbook. The great thing is, she can work it herself and it keeps her more than happy in the back of the car on long journeys. She doesn't need all of the extras that it provides, but in terms of durability and ease of use this gets 5 out of 5 from me.

I bought this dvd player so my two year old son can watch it on the plane...
It also came in realy handy as a dvd player which i connected to the tv in our holiday appartment.......great way to keep the kids happy,and to watch there favorite programmes whilst you get ready to go out....life saver...

my daughter has always wanted a dvd player with screen,and as i am not conversant with all these new fangled gadgets i am guided by the younger generation on what is the in thing at present.

After having my portable DVD player broken, i decided to replace it with another from Ebay. T he price was certainly cheap enough, it was a good make and model and that was the decider for me to go ahead and buy. I love it!!

positve....great big screen 8.5 inch. nice looks. plays avi dvd.
negative...low audio vol(common prob). dvd reloading mid film, (solved easily with a small piece of tape on door clasp to depress door sensor).

Wish I Googled this before buying, the sound is awful even with headphones, very very tinny as if the built in speaker was broken. If you are watching anything decent on it be prepared for this. Check the sound quality before buying any portable DVD.

On the plus side, plays everything I've tried, build is okay, picture good, just the sound lets it down.

We purchased the DVD for our grandson for use when we take him on holiday and in the car.
We were extremely pleased with the purchase as it was cheaper that the High Street and arrived very quickly.

I suppose it's a bit ridiculous but l am trying to lose some weight but found it very boring using ab exercise bike for thirty minutes or more, so l decided to buy
a portable DVD player with a screen. Well l am so pleased l did as it's very easy to use even my wife can switch it on and boy does it make things more interesting when l am on my bike!

A lovely portable DVD player with 8.5" screen, compact and lightweight. I brought it to use on holidays especailly after my last Easy Jet trip who didn't have a TV or radio. The unit has excellent picture. The 0.5w sound is just about sufficient. It has 2 headphone sockets. Great plus is it's multi-region and plays copies.

I like the communication and I love the iteam. What I dislike is, I did mistake, not to read properly.

I bought this dvd player for my 8yr old son to use in the car, plane etc. It is very easy to set up and use without adult help. It comes with in car adapter, battery charger and removable battery pack. It has a good size, clear screen and great sound and you can use your own headphones too. The battery is quite heavy but when fully charged plays for about 3hrs and when plugged into the car you can take the battery pack off. My son loves it.

I decided to pruchase tis as I need a portable dvd player and this was cheaper than stores

however I was unhappy with the product and the seller I ordered this and the first time the dvd palter would cut off half way through the filma nd then restart it again so i wrote to the seller and reqyested a replacement however with the replacement I had the same issue I though enoguh was enough and wanted a refund as I could not afford to keep posting back faulty itenms

When I did request this the seller balmed my dvds however the dvds I had purchased where brand new and never been used and they have worked in every dvd since then

its a good piece of item to have i would definitely recommend it it has good picture quality and it plays almost every type of dvds

A great superb item plays all types of media including divx ,mp4,mp3 dvd vr ,cd,cdr,dvd,dvdr,vcd ,picture cd and back up dvd discs takes a couple of hours to charge which give approx 2 hours of play back can run direct off the mains has an av out and an av in so can be connected to external devices ,the large 8.5" screen delivers great quality and sharpness it has a remote control its quite small and compact at approx 9 1/4" long 7" wide 1 3/4" thick when closed and weighing as much as a bag of sugar this truly is a remarkable bit of kit use it in the house or the car/caravan/motorhome comes with a cigarette lighter connection lead so keeps the kids quiet and content for hours.

Well I bought the DVD player for a christmas present for my girlfriend. The DVD player is light and durable and has lots of great features like DIVX playback, the sound quality through the speakers are great.
I watch a DVD on it most nights and the picture quality is amazing as the screen is a great size. When we were travelling we watched a film and the battery lasted for more than the film, we could of watched 2 films on one battery.
The only problems is the battery doesn't sit flush with the DVD player, so it sticks out the back and the battery does weigh more than the DVD player itself, but it does last so can't really complain. Other problem is the DVD player has no volume control for headphones, so it is set on one volume, unless you have headphones with a volume adjuster, but again the sound quality even through headphones is superb and truely stereo too, not mono put through both sides.

Overall the DVD player is superb and for the price and with the features it holds it is a great find and a must have, the battery life is great and the picture and sound quality is top notch.

i liked the item but since using it for a short time it no longer works and keeps returning to the begining of the film after between 1o to 15 minutes.
