One of Kate Bushs best albums. Had this album years ago (1978!), when I was only six years old and love it still, 30 years later. From the first song, the haunting 'Symphony in Blue', through to the amazing and exotic tale of Kashka from Baghdad, every song reminds me of my childhood, and brings back great memories. I had the album version years ago and have bought the c.d. However, always sounds better on vinyl! Sounds like a pensioner but it's true!
Kate Bush is, in my opinion, a true songwriting artist, and an amazing soul with the best imagination for storytelling ever!
bought because my first copy is vinyl. says it all really. brilliant album. any kate bush album is as good and i am currently making sure i have them all on cd so they can go in the car and (easily) on my ipod. cheaper and better quality than itunes downmload.
it reminds me of my youth, painting everything in sight, drinking vanilla tea with white chocolate, with my best friend, cilla, dreaming of Rupert Graves.
