Seen these films lots of times - love them - son loves all these films too - excellent !!! A Must Have so funny too !!

Love it Love it Love it. Had them on video but decided to splash out for dvd's, well worth it. Mel Gibson, yum, but besides that still great films. Mel Gibson and Danny Glover work excellently together as this comedy duo. Its got comedy, action and drama all rolled into one, couldn't ask for more. I got it for a great price but its well worth up to £25. A must have for Mel Gibson fans, action film fans, and just everybody.

The lethal weapon films are pretty much easy to watch action films with the odd bit of emotional right of passage stuff thrown in for good measure.

The first film is perhaps the harder to watch as it needs to set the characters and form the relationships between the two hero’s, ultimately leading to their partnership being formed and Riggs coming to terms with his wife’s death.

The second film relies on the fact that you’ve seen the first so you know who’s who and what their relation ships are as do all the following films but the stories aren’t that complex that you don’t necessarily need to have seen them it’s a basic spot the good guys spot the bad guys sorts story.

So to not spoil the films too much for anyone who hasn’t seen these ill keep the rest brief;

- The second film is sort of a revenge film; both the leads have a score to settle.

- The third shows Riggs moving on and finding new love

- And the fourth shows the duo tackling with getting older

Basically easy to watch action movies with a feel good factor.

What’s in the box? Well…

4 DVDs containing the 4 films

Not a lot of extras first 3 might have only had trailers, if that (if I remember correctly)

The first 3 films come in directors cuts but I only noticed one scene in one film that wasn’t on my original VHS, so may mainly be little stuff. The fourth is on a double sided disc, 1 side film 1 side extras. These are extras for that film.

So if you’ve seen them your probably here to buy or to buy if the price is right. If you haven’t I’m surprised you haven’t. It might have been nice for an extras disc with some retrospect interviews, behind the scenes stuff for the 4 and a gag reel or something like that for the collectors amongst us.

dvd set was for the whole lethal weapon series 1 through to 4 - my favourite one is 4 - but the chemistry between mel gibson and danny glover shines through all of the films

What can i say? Lethal Weapon has to be the best 'cop buddy' movie ever. Glover and Gibson go well together as the lead duo and all four films are packed with special effects and comedic (sometimes insane!) moments.

This is a brilliant box set of the offical Lethal Weapon films. With its action packed and funny quotes within this film, it would make the perfect box set for any Lethal Weapon fan or even people who have just heard of the series wanting to see it. With a very good package for the boxset and quality of the dvds are just beautiful makes this a well worth buyer for this extreme action boxset.

I have always loved the Lethal Weapon films, this box set is fantastic! It has restored footage that was previously cut out of the original films for Lethal 1-3 which is and added bonus. You will not be disappointed with this box set if you seek good action films.

Absolutely love these DVD's - i cannot fault them in any way. The first film is by far the best but each film still captures the essence of briilance.

Why I Bought It??

This was bought because VHS are being phased out and DVD is taking over. Therefore I want to replace all my VHS collection with DVD.

What I like most about it??

The thing I like most about it is all 4 films are in one box. The box only takes up 2 DVD spaces. Where as all 4 on VHS take up 8 DVD spaces.

What I dislike about it??

The things I disliked about it were:

1). 1st 3 film were on single-sided disc. But 4th was on double-sided disc. I don't like doubled-sided discs. They can get damaged very, very easily.

2). When buying DVD's I like to have 2 disc special editions. So I would have liked it to have been an 8 disc set as oppose to a 4 disc set.

Hope this helps everyone decide whether to purchace this or not.

I Love to watch movies and the leathal weapon movies 1-4 are a must see for any action/comedy fan ! I purchased the DVD box set on ebay for around £15 which i think is an amazing bargain. There is'nt anything i dislike about my purchase it arrived quickly and well packaged so needless to say im extremely pleased.

The dvd was a set box which i collect the description of their content and condistion were very acurately described. If these goods were an example of products on offer, i will have a great deal more confidence when buying in the future.
