Lenovo ThinkPad T41 (tc13kuk) PC Notebook

There are loads of pros with this laptop, it is slim light & very durable it comes with loads of snazy IBM features like the lid light & harddrive active protection system for a start.
I also love the fact it has both the nipple pad & track pad, it has built in wireless controls & being an IBM is loaded with security. It also has a brilliant graphics card for a business computer & when tweaked will let you play more games than you would think.
I think this laptop would be brilliant if it wasnt for one small problem, the harddrive fan makes to much noise & when working in a quiet environment is louder than it should be.
The same spec laptop made by Dell at the time was the dell D600 but although this pips the IBM for speed it loses on durability looks & features & I much prefer the Thinkpad for alot of reasons as I have owned the D600 as well.
The spec of my T41 is as follows: Mobile 1.6, 1024mb ram, dvd, 40gb.
I find it to be a very fast laptop that can keep up with newer computers & also handle most programs & tasks although its just the noise from the fan that lets this laptop down.
This laptop is a brilliant buy but if you think hearing the fan will annoy you a bit I would look elsewhere as this has happened in all three Thinkpads I have owned so I think it is a common problem with the T41.
