some say its not as good as Zeppelin I, because they're still trying to find thier feet, but come on!!! this album ahs some of their most popular hits. who doesnt tknow that fabulous riff from Whole Lotta Love. carrying on a 9 track style album, this one just kicks you in the nuts with the amount of brilliance it gives. the second track is my personal fave, due to its very cool chorus's, the lemon songs squeezes (sorry) the best out of zeppelin and it just keeps getting better. heartbreaker is also an amazing song and a very popular concert favourite. and who can forget moby dick; John Bonhams ace drums and Jimmy Page's magnificent riff, makes this the gem of side two. all in all this album is very cool, and worth getting. so buy it!!!!!!!!
Loved it as a teenager on vinyl, Love it even more on CD as an old fart. Daughter choose track 4 (Thank You) as her walk down the isle song, good taste runs in the family. Recommended for all you old moshers...!!!!!
3 or 4 years ago I sold my vinyl collection that included all Led Zeppelin albums...this break has allowed me to re-assess what I want to listen to...Ash, Snow Patrol, Muse, The Music, White Stripes are all good but there's only one Led Zep...this originally was one of my first Led Zep albums and revisiting it 25 years (!) after originally buying it has been great. It's just the noise that they make..the beginning of Whole Lotta Love is just unmistakable...love it
This is more like it, just like the original album, apart from the lemon song, which on the vinyl is listed as the Killing floor. Far superior to the remastered garbage.
Remember this is my opinion, not yours, before purchasing any music, you should at least attempt to listen to the album in question or other material by the artist.
