Laputa - Castle In The Sky (DVD)

The story begins when a girl's air ship is taken over by pirates and to make a bid for escape the girl accidently falls from the ship knocking her unconsious but her pendant around her neck stops her from falling and allows her to float while a young engineering apprentice sees a girl floating in the sky and saves her.. he catched her and lets her rest while he works, this film brings a lot of suprises and new little adventures in every turn, its greatly animated and the characters have strong personalities.

Excellent animation by Hayao Miyazaki. Dubbed into English from the original Japanese pretty well, albeit with American accents. This is an imaginative fast moving story with beautiful graphics and endearing characters. Could be slightly scary in places for very young children. Worth watching just for adults too.
