The photo's from the camera/printer dock are really good quality ,you can print as many photo's as you want.Very easy to use even for someone like me who is not very technical !!! I've not printed any off directly from the computer as it so easy with the dock. You can get your prints without leaving home. Would recomend.
The price of the camera and all the contents which came with it was a bargin, especially when it was a kodak. looks as good as new, easy to use with fantastic results.
Bought this camera for my little boy as the functions looked simple. Found even though it is only 4mp it is almost as good as my expensive one!
PROS: The camera is lightweight and small. The functions are easy enough for my four year old son to use, yet it does everything a more complex camera does. It is inexpensive - even bought new. The picture quality is very good even when moving. It is practical and hardwearing - I wouldn't recommend dropping a digital camera but when my son did so, it remained in full working order!
CONS: The battery (non-rechargeable) was very expensive. It cost £8.99 from my local camera shop for the special kodak battery recommended for the camera. I tried other batteries but they did not work.
All in all I find the camera a good option for those wanting a simple, good quality camera at a realistic price. Would certainly recommend it to others. It gives good quality photos when printed out at home and is also excellent when uploading onto a computer. Easy.
this camera is very easy to use i already have one and have bought this for my two daughters to use. pictures are excellent quality its a great size aswell also quite light 10/10
Good buy brought for my ten year old son who loves taking photos. Good clear listing good reviews was right product good information. The camera arrived quickly in good condition and worked which to me means 10 out of 10.
THIS IS A GREAT CAMERA VERY EASY TO USE ITS COMPACT INSIZE A GREAT PICE OF MODERN TECNOLOGIE WE ALREADY HAD ONE AND BROUGHT ANOTHER FOR MY SON THERE IS ONLY ONE PROBLEM THE BATTERIES DONT LAST VERY LONG BUT I NOW USE RECHARGABLES
Works well does exactly what i need and i store my pictures on slide shows rather than developing them it was a good buy certainly beats buying some newer ones for me
i thought the camera was excellent value and service was prompt my grandaughter broke my camera so had to look at repairs buying this camera was cheaper def be returning to seller
Required an "idiot proof" camera for an 80 year old relative who loves taking photos, but gets confused with films and batteries. This camera is so simple and with having built in memory that is adequate for simple snaps it is great, images are not as good as my EOS 20D but that cannot be expected.I still have to take care of the batteries for her, but it is ideal for the purpose.
This is a good first camera for a child. They are now so cheap that a child can be let loose with one without risking huge expense if disaster happens! It fits into samll hands nicely, with only a few fingers over the lens moments. 4 Mp is plenty for this use and in fact I reduce the quality to 1Mp to allow my son to put more shots on the memory card. The shutter lag is only just about short enough that he manages to take a picture without moving. The other issue is that battery life is not great, but this has been solved by fitting some 2500mAh rechargeables, much more capable than disposables. With the rechargables the flash charge time is also improved to a more acceptable interval.
The camera itrself is simplicity to use,. Easy to follow step by step menu settings allow various alterations to picture quality setup and memory storage etc. The software however can fall short of some peoples expectations, so unless you only wish to use Kodak's "own brand" picture software editing, it can prove to be a little daunting as to how to transfer the picture images over into another program into a program the user is more conversant with. A provision of being able to regcarge the kodak own brand ni cad battery pack would be nice to be supplied as standard. this is only usually available only when you purchase the "printer station", which has a docking port to allow both connection with the camera to transfer/download your pictures for printing directly onto photo type paper pre cut sheets and also it then permits charging of the internal battery pack in the camera, but it means having to have the printer unit powered to do so. Thus in an energy saving world we are becomming, power usage is high. Surely a simply transformer and power cable woulf of sufficed here. Come on kodak. you have an oppertunity here to upgrade the accessory market!
