this keyboard with integral touchpad mouse is light small easily portable and wireless.this made for easy use especially when working around the house while dealing with things on the computer like the internet.the touchpad mouse has a scroll bar which made things easier than i have been used to.i would definitely recommend this product for any one who likes to sit in their favorite set whilst operating a computer that may be inconveniently sited for comfortable use for example if connected to a large tv/monitor.

Wanted a wireless keyboard that worked!! Use a laptop alot so the design of the keysonic appealed because the layout is the same as my laptop.Simple installation no messing around looking for drivers as i have with other makes in the past! And some of the others i've had with built in mouse were a pain to setup and get working (if they worked at all!!)Works well with XP, and like the feature where when its not in use for a while it goes into standby saving the batteries. All and all a good product feels quality looks good and above all works as it should!
So having bought a new Imac and have been used to a mini 12 inch laptop I wanted to carry on using the lap top style convenience mouse and key board combi, as i sat on the sofa with my swish imac infront of me, and here is the solution, for what i thought was a really cheap price for what it is, works a dream, is really light and took a few seconds to get working, the mouse is a tad jumpy, but nothing you don't get used to, and sure beats navigating a mouse on a book next to me on the sofa !
With my Laptop in a docking station I wanted an uncluttered desk and a wireless keyboard seemed the ideal solution. There are plenty of those on the market, but I wanted one small in size, easy to store away when not needed. So the choice fell on the KeySonic ACK-540 RF.
It worked out of the box, no tricky matching up procedure at all. The battery life is good too, it switches itself off when not used after a short while. Any key will turn it back on, be aware that it misses 2 or 3 key strokes while turning on, so give it a second. You'll get used to it quickly.
The keyboard does not have a number pad, but I am yet to miss it. I guess that depends on the individual. A function key can turn on/off a number pad similar to most laptop keyboards.
The only thing I'm missing are indicators for Capslock and NumLock. I have found myself trying to log into Windows and getting the password wrong as the number pad is still active (At work I use the laptop with a keyboard which has a number pad and once used windows will remember that, nothing to do with the KeySonic keyboard). Hence an indicator would be nice. While the keys are great in response and sound (soft click sound) the two left and right mouse like buttons are quite loud. Not a problem for me though, I use a mouse, rather than the track pad.
And while on that subject, the RF dongle of my Logitech mouse does work in perfect harmony with the dongle of the keyboard. There seems to be no interference at all, even when plugged in right next to each other.
There is a detailed review (not by me) on the xsreviews uk website for those interested.
