This is great music. I haven't given it a top rating, because in my opinion thriller will always be at the top. Some really nice tracks on this though and well worth having.
I have been looking for this CD for ages and cant find it in the shops as it came out a few years ago, I cant believe what a bargain I got (£2.50) I love it and my 3yr old daughter and I sing along to it in the car.
A mixture of great love songs and the usual paparazzi aimed catchy tunes. Different to anything I've heard from Michael before. I think this album shows his more sensitive side, which is not a bad thing. Its hard to equal previous albums every time, but I think this is a really good effort and I would definately recommend it for MJ fans, aswell as fans of R&B and pop.
Nel complesso a mio parere è un buon album...intervallato da tanti tipi di generi differenti! La cover mi piace decisamente e la trovata di creare 5 tipi di colori differenti per la copertina ha aperto la frontiera del collezionismo ai fan più accaniti!
Let me start by saying I think it's unfair to compare this album to Michael's others. For instance, to date Thriller has sold over 100 million copies - no-one could ever expect to match that. I will therefore review this album on its own merit.
Whilst this album got slated by a lot of the press - probably those expecting it to match Thriller - it has some classic, beautiful songs on it. My favourite has to be Speechless, a song Michael wrote whilst watching his children playing out the window. His vocals on that song are, as usual, pitch perfect. You can almost feel the emotion.
If it's a faster, more upbeat song you're after then Unbreakable fits the bill. Brilliantly written and great to dance to.
One song that stands out on the album is 2000 Watts. Michael took singing lessons to enable him to sing perfectly in a deeper voice, and it doesn't sound like his normal voice at all. This is the track my son loves, and enjoys singing along to.
You Rock My World and Cry are two well known tracks on this album, both of which are destined to be classics.
I have put this album as good rather than excellent, due mainly to the fact that I think it could have been better. However, it's a great album to put on in the background and listen to on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
This is the latest album from Michael (although a new one on the way soon) Although most people would bad mouth Michael for this album it still sold more than most artists if not all artists. It sold over 9 million copies (an average artist/band sells about 1.5mil per album)
It's a more contemporary balad kind of album certainly different to the normal Michael stuff, but we some really true songs and some fun songs it's really good.
This album if MJ's is awful, to explain just how bad this album is, it sound's like an new artist on the block trying to sing in R&B. Thriller, Bad, Dangerous and the Histrory album, they are without doubt the best album's, obvously. Now the Blood On The Dance Floor album is just ok only 2 songs i thought that were class and that's (Ghost) and (Blood On The Dance Floor)are the only 2 decent songs on that album. Now i get the impression that MJ is getting worse as he brings out a new album, lets not put down the History album cos that is a great MJ album but then from there i think it's where it all starts getting worse. Every genius artist has to fade out with there latest albums at some point as MJ is only human and getting old but in his name no matter how much MJ makes crap album's in the future. He has nothing to prove, because of what he has achieved with (BAD) (THRILLER) (DANGEROUS) and (HISTORY)
Because of the History album i thought that the Invincible album will be just as good. But i was wrong.
So in my opinion (DO NOT BUY THE INVINCIBLE ALBUM!) there is not even one good song in that album and they all sound the same.
The cd is very good. The songs are great and Michael Jacson is had great production. I brought it beacause I love Michael Jackson and buy everything he makes.
