I won this item in an auction a couple of weeks ago now... unfortunetly the only review I can write is of the poor quality service i recieved from this individual buyer - this is because I have never recieved this product!!! Once purchased, I agreed to pay buy cheque (I stupidly didnt realise that the seller does not accept paypal), once payment was sent, I never herd anything from the seller again, he is now no longer registered on ebay!! My advice would be ALWAYS use paypal!!! and ONLY agree to pay by other methods If you are buying something large and agree to pick up and visit the seller before payment! Paypal I would say is a MUST for purchases. Ebay have been realy helpful, and are still investigating, but I should hopefully hear from them soon! My magic tip! check for the P!
Indiana Jones movies are the best and give a great enjoyment. I watched these moives more than 10-15 times from TV, VHS tapes and now my own DVDs. I would say they are a classic and you could watched them again and again. Have one yourself!
This is a must have box set especially if you get it at the price I did! If you've seen one of the films in the past, you gotta see them all. If you've only just met Indy in the new film and you liked what you saw, you MUST see the first three! You'll believe a man of 65 can fall 20 feet onto a metal cage, get up, and still punch his foe into oblivion.
With the release of a new Indiana Jones movie there will be renewed interest in the back catalogue and rather like Star Wars parents will be eager to show kids the old films. For that reason this box set makes excellent family entertainment for your 7+ kids and still stands up against more modern films although some of the effects are a little dated, big thumbs up I would say!
FAB BUY FOR ANY INDIANA FAN!!!!WILL KEEPS BIG AND LITTLE KIDS ENTERTAINED FOR HOURS.REALLY GOOD, CLEAN FAMILY FILMS THAT WILL HAVE SMETHING FOR EVERYONE. A MUST WITH THE NEW FILM JUST RELEASED.
With the new film out I'm sure we are not the only ones catching up with Indys previous adventures. Our kids loved all three of these films and are looking forward to seeing the new one.Overall, three good old fasjioned harmless action adventure films which will appeal to all ages
As a child, it is normal for a young male to have a patriarchal role-model that he can always look up to. My hero happened to be Indiana Jones!
A film of the past ahead of its time with stunning visual effects, high-paced thrills and a whole passle of cheesy one-liners, the Indiana Jones series delivers high octane action blended perfectly with a hint of comedy only Harrison Ford could have pulled off!
Ford evidently concludes in each instance -through a series of wonderful cliches- that good will always triumph over the wicked; and that those artifacts really should belong in a museum!!!
With excellent casting, (especially that of Sean Connery as Henry Jones, Indy's father) this trilogy delivers a series of mouth watering adventures that the family will want to dig up again and again!
Nowadays we keep forgetting how beautiful blockbusters can be. Too much CGI makes everything possible and therefore very often also arbitrary. In Raiders you actually seem to feel the physical pain some of the actors/stuntmen had to go through to provide 2 hours of pure entertainment.
Of course the story isn't waterproof, the Nazi weren't that present in Egypt in 1936 and how did Indy survive that ride on the submarine again? But lots of good and variable action scenes are accompanied by a story that develops fast and excitingly and is always close to being implausible but luckily never is.
Spielberg, Lucas and most of all Harrison Ford created a hero that is nowadays iconic. With their attempt to make an homage to adventure comics of the 1930's they created their own legend.
It's funny, exiting, thrilling and romantic. What more can you ask for?
Went to see the latest movie after watching the other three and anjoyed it immensly. It just follows on from the other three films with refernces to the past - great fun.
great dvd package all 3 in one pack, great price, well worth the buy!!fast delivery, many hours of thrilling entertainment, fast action and great story!!
Slimline cases in attractive cover case, containing classic Indiana Jones adventures of all 3 movies plus a bonus disc.
It has the trilogy: "Raiders of the lost ark"; "Temple of Doom" and "The last Crusade".
Showing the witty "get ot of this pickle" adventures of Indiana Jones in search of items of history such as the "Holy Grail" (in "The last Crusade") in the quest to preserve items for general viewing in a museum.
Starring Harrison Ford as the ever determined "reluctant" hero archeologist professor.
This box set is a must-have for anyone wanting to see the latest Indiana Jones film at the cinema in 2008. For anyone who hasn't seen the Indiana Jones trilogy they are excellent action films for the whole family, full of adventure and completely timeless. They may be 20 years old now but still great fun !
Get the box set wherever you can for the 4th extras DVD - a great addition to your DVD collection !
The dvd collection arrived quickly after payment was received, which is a reason for shopping on ebay. Like most good sellers the communication was excellent and every aspect of the transaction was smooth. A real pleasure to do business with this time and hopefullya gain in the near future!
THE SET IS IN MINT CONDITION,IT WAS A LITTLE CHEAPER THAN ANY OF THE HIGH STREET OUTLETS I TRIED AND THE EBAYER I WAS PURCHASED FROM HAD A GREAT EBAY RECORD.
As I had remembered from my childhood, Indian Jones is great. I brought it for my children, one of whom has recently discovered Lego Indiana Jones sets and wanted to see the films.
Great film from the days when they knew how to make Family Films.
I had seen the various videos before but purchased this collection in order that my grandchildren could watch them. There was nothing I disliked about the DVDs
Box set of all three films with a bonus DVD with extras. James bond without the gadgets, non stop action, great stories, and a fantatic harrison ford, I can not fault these films in any way, they are classics and a must see
