I Know What You Did Last Summer (DVD 1999)

Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography. I would recommend the director's cut that includes scenes about the relationship between the lead character and his estranged wife and helps you to understand the motivation behind his decision. The run time is 183 minutes for the directors cut and 120 minutes for the cinema version. since watching ghost whisperer i decideded to revisit miss love hewitt's films.this is the first film of two and it came out around the same time as scream which i have also purchased.they are very good slash movies.

I really like this film i love the scary bits.
I watch this film again and again. So does my partner.

This is one of my favourite films, its got a good story and leaves you on the edge of your seat you never know whats going to happen next, well recomended to anyone who likes a good thriller. I decided to buy it as iv always liked it ever since i first watched it.

what i like about this film is that it takes upon the role of characters that have actually done something wrong, as oppose to many horror films glamorizing 'victims'
this film takes the viewer through laughs and scares, youll find yourself shouting 'dont do that' many times at your screen whilst watching this
good use of characters and scenery
however the sequel isnt worth the time of day

i decided to buy it because ive seen this film multiple times before, however i have been unable to locate this in subsequent video stores - and ebay was selling it cheap enough!

One of the originators of the current spate of slasher films, this film introduced a bright young cast who all went on to bigger and better things. Scripted by Kevin Williamson, its chock-full of pop culture references and is superior in every way to its, at present, two sequels. A nice little film...with the added bonus of the all too lovely Jennifer Love Hewitt.

This DVD features Dolby Pro Logic Sound and is presented in 2.35:1 Letterbox aspect ratio. Unfortunately, there is nothing else in the way of extra features.

I saw this film when it first came out, but it is definatly one I would watch again, in fact I have-several times! Definatly one to watch, but if the story line doesn't draw you in then Ryan Phillipe, or Freddie prince Junior will!!

I Loved the price and very quick delivery of this item,a great bargain.The set was in perfect condition as stated.I decided to buy this item as i'd seen the first two,but did'nt know it was a trilogy.

A good teenage slasher movie (one of the first). This one envolves a teenage girl, her boyfriend and their two friends, who accidently run a man over one night and dump the body, only to have notes sent to them one year on saying I know what you did last summer, and a maniac stalking them. If you liked Scream you will like this.

i've seen better horror movies than this but slasher fans as myself won't be disappointed. s.m. gellar is fantastic. i recomend this to any teen slasher fanatics altough it's not very gory. scream is better in any aspect but this one is quite entertaining especially s.m. gellar chasing scene. good movie.
