Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory (CD 2000)

This is a fantastic album. I was into metal when I was a kid but slowly swayed towards trance. This album brought back the rocker in me with its hyper riffs and amazing lyrics. All I can say is, if you haven't got this album, you really are missing out!

linkin park at their very best with this album, one of my personel favz, ne linkin park fan should own this album.

im writing this review to say how dissapointed i am to say that you sent me the sparks insted of the cd i wanted which i dont even like i hope that you correct cd or i will report you

My son has been after this cd for a while now, he is forever lending them out and never receiving them back, so to buy off ebay, I do not lose so much money,and when it comes nicely parcel it`s a bit like xmas(sad I know)

This is the best album lp have made to date and i believe they will never beat it, chester & mikes vocals are amazing. LPs other albums are great but not as great as this one. The best song on it? There all great! Theres not one that i skip whenever i listen to this album. 10/10

I finally received this product though it was quite a slow delivery. The product also had a cracked CD case but otherwise the interaction was good.

This is the debut album of nu-metal legends linkin park. This album has plenty of killer tracks that even 8 years later can still get your blood pumping.

While linkin park are not a great live act, they are the masters of the studio album, and the enduring quality of this album is the proof.

This album is amazing throughout. Bought this here on eBay to replace my original copy that i bought when it was released. I still do not tire of this album and can go back to it after months and instantly remember why i love it.

If you've heard only one Linkin Park track and you liked it, then this is a must buy!! You wont be dissapointed ;-)

WHEN THIS ALBUM WAS FIRST BOUGHT OUT I USED TO LOVE IT AND WOULD LISTEN TO IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN... I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS ALBUM TO ANY ROCK / METAL FAN

Now a huge Linkin Park fan, this the first album I bought of theirs.
I wasn't disappinted and have been hooked ever since. Linkin Park truely are fantastic. Here is my run down on each of the songs...


1) Papercut - 9/10: The first song on the album, this one takes a look at the paranoid side of the brain which I'm sure alot of us do feel from time to time.

2) One Step Closer - 10/10: For me, the best song on the album, I really like this one, it seems to talk about being hurt by someone. This was the song that got me into Linkin Park in the first place and has remained my favourite.

3) With You - 7/10: Not the best song on the album but good lyrics all the same. This one seems to be about being hurt by someone but still caring for that person no matter what.

4) Points Of Authority - 9/10: A song showing an angrier side of Linkin Park, being hurt by someone and kinda feel like you've been used. Great track!

5) Crawling - 9/10: Great song. It talks about being really uncomfortable in a certian situation and feeling totally insecure. One of the songs where Chester holds the notes for a long time and really well.

6) Runaway - 8/10: This song seems to reflect on not being understood, getting so ticked off with it all and just wanting to be left alone.

7) By Myself - 8/10: A song which shows alone someone can feel (obviously by looking at name of the track) and not being able to be yourself with the people around you.

8) In The End - 10/10: I think anyone who's ever listened to the album likes this song. Well, people I know anyway. But it really is a good song. Chester and Mike's voices go with the song beautifully. I guess this one talks about really trusting and caring for someone but that person never fully understood you.

9) A Place For My Head - 9/10: A song which says that you really cared for someone and tried to be there for them but then they just threw it back in your face and in the end you just want to take a break from it all.

10) Forgotten - 9/10: I really can't think of a meaning for this song but it's great nonetheless. The lyrics go really well with the music.

11) Cure For The Itch - 7/10: This is Mr. Hahn showing off his great DJ skills.

12) Pushing Me Away - 9/10: The final song on the album and really enjoyable. This talks about doing anything to just be able to be with someone but that person is alway...well...pushing you away.

By far my favourite album by Linkin Park. I can listen to it over and over and never tire. I can relate to many of the lyrics and it always makes me feel better. Absolute classic.

I bought the CD Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park expecting it to be full of top quality songs, and I was not disapointed. My favourite song on the album is probably In The End, and there wern't really any songs I didn't like. In my opinion, it's one of their best CD's! I'm glad I bought this to add to both my Linkin Park CD collection and my CD collection in general.

Linkin Park was the first nu-metal band i loved. Now i am much more into the heavier side of metal and rock, but this album and their others i just cant stop coming back to. Everyone must have at least 1 linkin album, wether they will admit it or not ;)

This is a brilliant album and a recommended buy for anybody. A real package with no bad songs which starts off really well with Papercut. Buy it!

this is an excellent album with some very good songs on it, my favorite being "in the end". but all are good.i brought it in the last moments of the listing and got a good price so it was a sper of the moment purchase.but well worth it. recomended.
