This came out at the same time as Lucky Town, when Bruce realised that the songs he was writing were fitting 2 sets of moods. I don't completely agree but when you have a superb set of songs such as this then who cares what the reason was and it certainly beats some of them being held back for some archival collection in the future. After the 'confessions' of Tunnel of Love and subsequent split with his first wife, having now settled down with Patti Scialfa and having a son allowed a more reflective set of songs.
THIS THE 2ND ALBUM OF LUCKY TOWN or i should say both albums including this one came out at the same time, and what an album, this is my favourite, you see is what you get and so be it, this album has some superb lyrics and apart from great music this really sells the album, try and listen to it with open thought in a metaphrical sense, the crystal sound and intense voice will win you over, if you have never listened to his music before buy this one now!
I WISH I COULD THIS 10 STARS! this is a real 5/5
you know it makes sense buy this on ebay! awesome!
