House Of Wax (DVD)

A group of friends on their way to a college football game fall prey to two murderous brothers in an abandoned small town. They discover that the brothers have expanded upon the area's main attraction -- the House of Wax -- and created an entire town filled with the wax-coated corpses of unlucky visitors. Now, the group must escape before they, too, become permanent exhibits. Stars Elisha Cuthbert, Chad Michael Murray and, yes, Paris Hilton!

Quite a good film, not too scary which i liked about it because i'm quite sqemish - but interesting story line not what i expected, a few gory scenes that give you a shudder watching but all round a good watch :D x

We sat down to watch it and.. we were all like WAT?!??! It was not scary and we all felt like we had waisted our time watching it.. So, if you aren't to sure about scary films and would like a tame one to get you into it then this is the one for you.. However if you are a serial horror film watcher dont bother... :)

A entertaining horror about 6 friends who decide to camp out during a road trip and find out it was a big mistake.. great horror film which i purchased at a excellent price the film has paris hilton staring in it ! and is about two brothers that kill all the villagers in the town and make wax figures out of them

bought this film for myself as i had seen the old film a long time ago and had been told that the uptodate film was a lot better.Enjoyed it thoroughly and found it quite freaky and scary.

Best DVD I have bought !! Quick delivery, DVD in great condition even though it has been used before, would defo use this seller again !!

Highly entertaining film keeps you watching all the way through good quality chiller and effects,the storyline also is not to farfetched and a good cast.

4 out of 5 for special effects...very clever.
Wasnt sure about the film at first, thought it was just like all the other teen movies i have seen as it did start off to be like that but hang on in there and the movie gets better and better and with a good ending.
But who wants to see Paris Hilton posing in her underwear..no thanks !!!

House of wax has got a great cast such as chad micheal murray, Brain Van Holt etc.,but 1 cast member did annoy me a little bit,but paris hilton was only in about 3 scenes so it wasn't that bad!the movie itself is great,the characters are good and in the end Nick(chad)the evil twin(you will understand when you watch the movie) is the one that tries to help everyone. Great Movie with gory scenes involving skin falling off and replacing skin with wax. Brain Van holt was the best actor and done a great job playing 2 characters and chad came in second,not one of chad's best performances but still great!! this movie is great and one of the best horror movies i've seen better than the ring in my opinion!!!!

I'm a big fan of horror films and the gorier the better for me. Any film that can make me feel a bit queasy is a good film in my book and gets a mega thumbs up because it takes alot to impress me. To be honest one of the main reasons for me buying this film was because I'm not a big fan of Paris Hilton to be honest so a film where she might die is a must to see.

The special effects in this film are truely amazing and it really is hard to believe that they aren't real and the gore content makes it even better. There aren't many films that I would watch more than once but have watched this few times since buying it.

If you like film that make you feel a bit queasy then you shouldn't be disappointed with this film. So buy, watch and enjoy!

This film, although it may look like a normal slasher movie, which you've seen over and over again, it still has the twists and turns which we all love about horor films.

I was expecting absolutely nothing from this movie, which is probably why I ended up quite enjoying it. It is a horror movie like many others - nothing really original about the format or the characters.

However, my brother Steven assured me that it was pretty good, and he also promised me Paris Hilton would indeed die a horrible death, so I agreed to watch it.

It is pacy, the deaths are pretty horrible and gruesome, and I enjoyed the two main leads, although, as I read in other reviews, they do seem more like boyfriend/girlfriend than brother/sister. And, to my shock, Paris Hilton actually is the voice of reason in the movie: "Yes, let's go follow the smell. Great idea." I fully agreed, and was shocked indeed. ;)

Anyway, if you're looking for just another popcorn horror movie, this one won't let you down. It's not extraordinary, but it is enjoyable enough. :)

this dvd was scary, i dont know who decided to rate it 15 because it should definately be an 18. actora are hot epaicially paris and chad. luv the film.

an excellent film if u dont like paris hilton its gory in detail & fantastic ending with paris hilton bein scewered on a pole! however if u like paris hilton there is a good boob scene overall a good film.

I was expecting a lot more from this film. They didn't really explain a lot of stuff in this film which would have made it a bit easier to understand. although you do see people getting covered in wax which was a bit of a surprise. Over all, not a bad film, but I would have changed a few things.

Despite the fact the Paris Hilton was in it and it got off to a bit of a slow start, it got really good and had some gory bits to it too.
Great ending!
Enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
Would watch again in a few years time.
