Hook (DVD 2000)

I decided to buy this DVD recently after being reminded about the film from a friend. This is one of the best films I have ever seen and I'm suprised that I had forgotten about it to be honest. I won't ever make that mistake again now!

Both robin williams and dustin hoffman's acting in this film is superb, not one fault. The story line has enough entertainment to keep both children and adults 'hooked' throughout the entire duration.

I simply can't wait to watch this film again.
Long live the hook!

Loved this story, a great movie for both mum (43) and daughter(7) to pop corn and sit and enjoy together.

The timeless classic Peter pan given the re-working by Spielberg, a wonderful family film. Great family plot, although it has the American bias, and fantastic cast with Hoffman camping it in great style. a film to watch again and again.

Hook (DVD 2000) - Fantastic film. My children loved this film when it came out, and are still watching it 8 years later. Cannot fault this film at all. Well acted, funny and joy to watch. A++++++++++++++++

I loved this film when I was younger and one day saw the video of it at a boot sale, so bought it as I thought my kids would like it. They did but the tape jumped in places so they never was able to watch it properly so I went on the hunt for it on Ebay and was very pleased when I got a copy. They now watch it a lot. Fantastic film! great for all the family. Every one who has kids should have a copy in the cupboard!

Daughter wanted a copy saw it on e-bay very good starting price bought it without biding very happy with outcome.

Had it on video but wanted it on dvd to stay modern etc its a great film 9/10
a classic which can be watched over and over easily

They showed this film on a recent coach trip and I had forgot how good it was. I bought it for my neice who is 11, but it's good for adults too. A nice fun family film.

Always loved this film. Bought it on video but wanted to buy on dvd. When I saw this one on ebay I bought it! Excellent service and very efficient. Just wish everybody was like this. Will be buying more from the seller in the future.

Good bit of escapism for Sunday afternoon watching with no rude bits. Slow to start off, the film eventually gets going when Peter, Robin Williams in real life ditches his clunky real world self for flying with the kids. The kids are brilliant. So is Hook and even the remains of the croc. Brave attempt to imbue Peter with street smarts falls flat, Robbie Williams really cannot do attitude, but the fight at the end makes up for all that.

Great family film!

We bought this as our kids love Peter Pan (Disney version) and thought this would be a good film for them to move onto (our children are 8, 7 and 4). Although the early bit of the film was a little "slow" for them they did have fun trying to guess who Peter really was. They loved it when Hook came into the story and the last 1/2 hour (the big fight!) was superb.

Highly recommended for a Sunday afternoon family film!
