i bought this film on hd dvd and wasnt dissapointed. it looks amazing, and am currebtly looking to get the others on hd dvd too. this film compliments the other's in the series, and does not disapoint. the only reason it is rated 4/5 on here is because somebody winged that it wouldnt play on his dvd player. 5/5 all the way! a must see if you liked the other films.
We are collecting all of these films for my daughter who really likes them and when each film comes out is a must to get. This film is a little more thrilling than the others ,but I think this is because the charactors are getting older and getting into even more trouble!!!
my husband actually purchased it .he is a great harry potter fan and had not seen this one.he found it very easy using ebay. he was very pleased with the service and would use ebay again.
What can I say? The latest instalment of the Harry Potter series conveys the dark, mysterious more grown up mood of the book very adequately. The change in directors does show as the previous films were lighter less mysterious looking affairs. Although just as good the previous films did not really touch on how special and important to the whole good against evil cause. This film does that and some. Daniel Radcliffe again shows how right he was for the role and supporting actors are again excellent as usual. Although my teen daughter does not really like the fact that Michael Gambon is now Prof. Dumbledore instead of the late Richard Harris, I rather like the way he has developed the character in the last 2 films and we see more of him in this one. The visual effects are stunning as usual and be prepared for a few jumps and intakes of breath! A very good film - not sure whether its a family film, my younger children I allowed to watch the first 3 but I don't think they'll be watching this one - a bit too dark and brooding for them! Great film - watch it!
No matter how much i ramble on about this film i dont think ill quite get across how stunningly impressive it is. the goblet of fire, the 4th film so far, is undoubtly the best yet. i even saw it in the cinema 5 times to try and convince myself that it really wasnt as good as i kept telling myself it was, but it is!!!! unlike the other 3 films i wouldn't recommend this film for all the family as very young children will probably be petrified by it, as my 3 year old nephew was within the 1st minute, no joke! however its still one of the best films all year if not ever!(in my opinion) this film really entertains you non-stop for the full 3 hours that it lasts and drags you through a series of emotions no matter how many times you watch it. unlike the earlier HP films, the goblet of fire has impressive special effects throught and is amazingly directed. im so entrigued by the ending i cant wait for next year and im patiently trying not to read the 5th book just to make the film that little bit better. i love this film and would entice everyone to buy it, unless of course, you dont want to be entertained.
