No matter how much i ramble on about this film i dont think ill quite get across how stunningly impressive it is.
the goblet of fire, the 4th film so far, is undoubtly the best yet. i even saw it in the cinema 5 times to try and convince myself that it really wasnt as good as i kept telling myself it was, but it is!!!!
unlike the other 3 films i wouldn't recommend this film for all the family as very young children will probably be petrified by it, as my 3 year old nephew was within the 1st minute, no joke! however its still one of the best films all year if not ever!(in my opinion) this film really entertains you non-stop for the full 3 hours that it lasts and drags you through a series of emotions no matter how many times you watch it.
unlike the earlier HP films, the goblet of fire has impressive special effects throught and is amazingly directed.
im so entrigued by the ending i cant wait for next year and im patiently trying not to read the 5th book just to make the film that little bit better. i love this film and would entice everyone to buy it, unless of course, you dont want to be entertained.

My hubby bought me this to cheer me up while I had the Flu' - and it didn't dissapoint!

Great effects as usual and lovely music, a shock to see how they are all growing up too..

My only gripe would be that they cut so much out from the book...but then I guess the movie would have had to have been 5 hours long!

All in all, well worth the money, this is one to watch over and over.

 Potter has been ruined
Review created: 03/02/08

Slightly better handled than the third film and better acting on most accounts but just as dismal in almost every other respect. Films based on books are supposed to be based on the book aren't they? Why then did the GoF movie change the plot twist to suit it's own ridiculous ends? This movie put far too much emphasis on how it looked, it took scenes that should have been a lot shorter and expanded them ridiculously just to show off the cgi. This takes time away from what should have been the main focus... the damn story. Why not just do a Lord of the Rings and make the film four hours? In that instance, anyone who's going to complain about length shouldn't be going to see it anyway and book fans would be appeased as well as other viewers. As it is, major characters have been cut (Ludo Bagman), major plot points removed, major scenes removed (such as Sirius in the cave) with the result that the story is very diminished and not even a fraction as mysterious or as gripping as it should have been. Why spend about ten minutes on the first task when it only needed about 2 if done properly? Those extra minutes and the extra minutes from similar extended pieces should have ALL been used to expand the films ending and make it make sense. For all you people who haven't read the books, have a think here... in Azkaban the entire wizarding world is on red alert because Sirius escaped.... in Goblet, Barty Crouch Junior has done the exact same thing and no one has even realised??? What stupidity was that? This had a very in depth explanation in the books and was aided by the character Winky who, like Dobby, was cut from the film despite the house elf's massive part and the clues they provided to the answer. The people in charge of cutting these books down to film form don't know what they are doing. Also, Michael 'HAAAAAAAARRYYYY POOOOOOOOTEEEEEER' Gambon as Dumbledore? From cool, calm and collected Richard Harris to angry, scary and an accent that he can't maintain for more than a few minutes making him sound like he's forgot his nationality. I am relatively sure he only got the part because he's Sir Michael Gambon. I know Ian McKellan has said he wouldn't do the part if asked but will someone please convince him. The only saving graceVoldemort looked great and Ralf Fiennes played it reasonably well and the death of Cedric was convincingly sad, these points only merit one star however due to the rest of this abysmal movie. Oh and also, Moody was played very well but didn't look at all correct and what the hell was that strap all about? If you liked the other films and haven't read the books or you just like fantastical nonsense with a plot that isn't properly explained then you'll probably be fine but if you want a faithful adaption then avoid like the plague.

Harry has grown up a lot and is having to face the very real threat that Voldermort is ready to return. The special effects are great. I love the dragons, the mer people don't look as freindly as I thought they would and I was disapointed in the maze - i was looking forward to the Sphynx. But it is still a great film

How to get an iPhone, Wii, PS3 or 360 for nothing!

The Free iPhone Guide

To get yourself a free iPhone all you have to do is follow the 3 easy steps:

Step 1 : Sign up for a free iPhone
Sign up at the link below to get your free iPhone. We recommend this free iPhone site because it's been TRIED and TESTED to work.

http://Gifts.real-incentives.com/2992 (copy and paste into browser)

You can choose other prizes like free consoles from this site too! Make sure you use a real email address. Use your real details when you sign up so that the company knows where to send your iPhone! Remember that they have been proven legitimate, so will send you your free iPhone if you do everything legitimately!

Step 2 : Try an advertiser's offer
Basically all you need to do in this step is complete one of the offers, this is where the freebie site make their money, if you complete an offer then the freebie site will recieve commission for it. So if you complete Coral which will only cost you £5 to complete, the freebie site gets £25 from Coral. The two best offers are Lovefilm Free DVD rental (rent two DVD's, keep them for about 2 days, send them back and then cancel the trial) and Coral (bet £5 on a sport). I would reccommend you do Coral as it credits in an hour and is really simple to do, Lovefilm however can become complicated and takes up to 2 weeks to credit! You can also try one of the other offers, most are gambling offers. Don't skip this step! You must complete this step to get your free iPhone!

Step 3 : Refer some friends
This part is a lot easier than it seems, especially now with free iPhone sites getting so popular. There's lots of people online who want a free iPhone too, so start referring them! You only need to get a few signups before you'll be finished. You can ask your friends or your online buddies. I already got a free PS3, Wii, and XBOX Elite without even having to ask my friends for help - there's lots of people online who want a free iPhone like you! One of the easiest ways to get a referral is to do a favour for a friend and ask them to sign up in return. That way, you both can get a free iPhone!

Basic rules
Don't break these rules! This is the only reason that you won't get your free iPhone, so make sure you follow these rules!

- One account per household - don't use a public computer to sign up!
- Use real information - this is a proven legitimate site and they will not give out your information.
- Only complete each offer once! You cannot complete the same offer again, even for different freebies.
- Don't try to cheat the system. This site has been proven legitimate, and they will catch you if you try to cheat. If you do everything legitimately, by following this guide, you will get a free iPhone!

Thats all, just follow my guide and you will have your free iPhone in no time.

Thank you.

 Nearly Magic Harry
Review created: 08/08/07
by:

I don't really get the bad reviews of this. I am not a huge Harry Potter fan nor an adolesent though i have read all the books and enjoyed them fine. I have also seen all the film adaptations and thought, they weren't all that good actually. I felt they tried to put too much of the book in (and in Azkaban missed out one of the most important bits!) and the films coherence inevitably suffered.

This has easily been the best of the bunch - though not even my favourite of the books - the script is linear and Mr Potter even gets a few scenes off to allow the film insights into other characters.

The film looks good, the adult cast are superb and the kids...well, they are getting better. I also felt the darkness wasn't skipped on for a change.

Lay off, this was almost knockout film - instead it's a really enjoyable one that gets as much in of the book in its runnin time WITHOUT sacrificing the pace. Otherwise it would have been six years long.

It's a good fun film, so there!

I'm a huge fan of harry potter, and this is one of the best.

Harry Potter, although you may think that it's a repetitive story line is in fact the opposite. Very well written and played by the cast, you are drawn into this movie and made apart of it. One that you can watch with all the family over and over again.

One of the best set of films that are ever likely to be made.

Thrilling film, a must see for all Harry fans!
Review created: 14/04/07
by:

I enjoyed the film, but i thought it did not do the book justice (which is a hard thing for a film to follow up, if it's such a good writer and book, as J.K. Rowling is). I thought it didn't connect and flow through all the chapters as it missed vitl things out of it. However, good acting played throughout the film, with Daniel Radcliffe stealing the show, as he has done so efficiently in all the previous Harry Potter movies. Action packed, thrilling and fun for the family (with the exception of young children, as the content is a little scary and violent), a must see for Harry potter fans. In comparison with the other Harry Potter films, i felt the content wasn't not as explanatrey as it should have been, and too larger gaps were left out of the book, which could leave some people questioning certain aspects of the film.
Overall though, a good watch.

I bought this for my grandson for his birthday and he was delighted with it. So was I. The price was excellent, way below shop prices and it included an extra DVD with outtakes and games.
I have bought many things from ebay, and, so far have had no problems, received everything very promptly and have no complains about any of the purchases.

I've been looking to buy the latest edition of the HP films for ages. When I saw on eBay they were being sold as bargains, I couldn't resist.
It took me a while to win one, it quite a few atempts as they were being snapped up all over the show.

I did see the film at the cinema but I wanted it to add to my collection, I had to see the film twice because part of the machine broke, but I got my money back which was swish.

This book is my fav so far out of the series and without a doubt the best film, brilliantly made with excellent special effects with the dragons etc. If you love HP then you must see this film!
