ive got a couple of special editions of this album... yes i have a problem!
i have purchased the "regular" version so i dont have to wear gloves just to get the disc out! HA!!
Anyway... if you like radiohead, or if you want to listen to something that has a raw feel with a strong undercurrent of absolute bloody brilliance = GET A COPY NOW!

The opening song sets the mood for the entire album and while this is one of Radiohead's albums that moves away from 'the bends' era of radiohead and into a new era. You can see how this album and The Bends have influenced In Rainbows and the superb messages in the lyrics are amazing. One fantastical album that always brings a smile to my face.

The Thief...Intricate and arresting. But probably not for the casual listener. Certain songs stand up and grab you by the aural lapels immediately; such as the outstanding opener "2+2=5" and the sweet tingling "I will" with the chilling refrain little babies eyes, eyes, eyes... However some tracks will not inspire you to anything but pure boredom first listen and will require a certain amount of listener participation. On the whole. Not as good as their most recent work and not as good as their earlier stuff either. But it is definitely no limbo album.

Perhaps lacking the brilliance of The Bends and OK Computer, this is far better than the doodling which formed the basis for Kid A and Amnesia. Good stopgap before the rumoured masterpiece thay are working on now

Radiohead are a fantastic band that I have known for sometime now. Their sound is a great example to British alternative rock music. If you’re a fan of bands like Coldplay, The Verve, and Muse then, this band (and album) is for you.
This album is a fantastic CD and I really enjoyed listening to it. It’s one of my personal favourites by them along with “Pablo Honey“ and songs like “Wolf At the Door” and “Backdrifts” are an example how good this CD is when it comes to both music sound and lyrics. Radiohead have created a fantastic piece of music and this album is a must have for any alternative rock music fan.
