Gone In 60 Seconds (DVD 2001)

As you can see from my reviews there are no half measures. I either love them or hate them, but then again I normally only watch the genres i like.

This film is full of action and is extremely entertaining. I think it is one of Cage's better films.

It has fantastic cars, great race scenes and a good cast.

i would probably give this 9 out of 10.

Plot -
Car theft in Long Beach went down 47% when Randall "Memphis" Raines walked away from the life. He gets dragged back into it by assuming the job his brother Kip screwed up for stolen-car broker Raymond Calitri: steal 50 exotic cars and have them on a container ship by 8 AM Friday morning, and he got this news on a Monday. With Calitri threatening to kill him and Kip, and the police GRAB unit breathing down his neck, Memphis reassembles his old crew and attempts to pull off the logistically impossible.

this is a film everyone should see its a film with something for everyone its all about boosting or car jacking and its all about how a brother saves the other from a fait of death buy boosting all the cars in one night

Action all the way as our favourite heroes do battle in their cars against time. To be more accurate the heroes are playing bad guys being rather naughty taking cars. While such behaviour cannot be encouraged, for the movies and for our enjoyment, they are forgiven. Super film, don't miss it if you like cars.

Action packed movie adventure, staring the great Nicholas Cage. A must for any fan, and the cars are a bonus.

I bought this item for my daughter as a present. I like the film myself,
I also liked looking at all the different prices people aks for the same
item and the differences in the cost of postage. The only thing i dislike is that some people charge over the odds for post and packing.

This is the ideal petrol heads movie it has everything from Ferrari's to Jaguars, The climax is off coarse Eleanor. Although this car(Mustang GT500)never looked quite like that the movie makers have done Carol Shelby proud.
I bet he wished fibre glass was available in 1967.
Even if you dont like cars that much its got Angelina Jolie & Vinney Jones.

I love this film! It great and has me on the end of my seat all the time! I love the car that is stolen at the end of the film and also i enjoy the car chaces and the hot birds ;)

this item was deliverd very fast and was packed well. but the only thing that upset me was that i paid for this dvd very fast but was not awarded with any feedback

I love the film its an amazing film from start to finish, its just fast and furious, mind blowing. They picked the right actors for the film and all have been put in the right characters. The music for the film is dramatic and helps emphasis the film and what is happening in certain parts, the many cars are amazing especially the stunts with them.

This film is a must see and have for anyone who loves films.

Action films like this are hardly brain surgery. But, based on a 1974 original, this version of "Gone In 60 Seconds" is in desperate need of a service.

Nicolas Cage is Randall 'Memphis' Raines, an ex car thief brought out of retirement when dodgy Christopher Eccleston lures Memphis' brother Kip (Ribisi) into a car boosting scam.

To save his bro, Raines has a task: to steal 50 cars in one night and deliver them to Eccleston to ship overseas. Not as easy as it sounds, even for an old pro like Memphis, so he sets about regrouping his old crew, including Otto (Duvall) and Sway (Jolie). The clock is ticking - can they do it?

Well, what do you think? It's an engaging premise, but somewhere along the line it all goes wrong. Every character bar Cage is barely introduced and what should be a constant adrenaline rush is reduced to a few measly car chases.

The dialogue is so cheesy it needs crackers, which means you are waiting in vain for some high-speed action that barely ever comes. Rather, the film-makers seem intent on just looking at the undoubtedly expensive hardware and saying "isn't it pretty?", which has limited appeal to those of us who aren't car fanatics.

Cage stepped into the $20 million club with this film and he is the only one who has anything to do. Vinnie Jones has a supporting role as The Sphinx, one of the stupidly-monikered crew who also happens to be mute. But while the hardman acts as something of a curio, it's hardly worth forking over your hard-earned cash for.

FAST MOVING MOVIE! FILLED WITH NOT JUST FAST CARS, BUT FAST EXOTIC CARS! THEN YOU HAVE CAGE ALONGSIDE JOLIE AND ACTION, ACTION, ACTION!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Petrol heads film...fab! I love It & so does my son. A film to watch over & over. Great car chase scenes. A very good service too from the seller.

This is the sort of film you either like or hate, but as a petrol head i love it and can watch it again and again! Excellent Car chase, good story, nice girl what more could you want!
I used to keep asking friends to let me have there dvd and then i decided to buy it on ebay the price was ok and it was new!

Buying dvds on ebay is a good way of getting your collection to expaned as there isnt much on the telly these days

Great car scenes. Easy viewing. I love seeing all the different cars and Angelina Jolie being one of the main cast simply finishes it off!

the product was really goo i decided to buy it because i had not seen it in ages and also it at such a low price i cudnt let it go and plus i had nothing elseto do at the time so i thought i would spend some money on ebay and it just happened that i had been talking about the film the other day so really i was bored and i had money so i baught it.

Great film and keeps you watching all the time waiting for the next scene, so take the phone off the hook as you don't want to miss anything 10/10.anyway memphis raines(cage)thought he left the fast lane behind until he,s forced out of retirement to save his brother.

Fast paced, brilliant acting and the amazing theft, all in 60 seconds, one to watch. The original version of this film is even better.

60 Seconds for me is a classic film and it's going to be one that will be high in the ranks of films for a long time, a family favorite with some very nice cars for those motor enthusiasts.

A good line-up and very well written and directed, a good ending and for me there are no boring moments in the film, well worth a watch.
