Ghost Ship (DVD 2003)

When i first heard of this film i was like 'yeah a ghost ship wooow how spooky not ' but watched it and it was really good especially for those of you that like ghost films and a bit of jumpy scenes and a great soundtrack. Desmond Harrington is soo worth watching it for he is soo yummy in this film after his debut in 'hole' this film 'ghost ship' is the far most memorable of his work with other great leading chracters to the story its great!

The morale of the story is this .. when a routine salvage operation turns horribly wrong the members on the boat come across a huge what looks abandoned ship however very spooky things start happening and chilling events unfold on the luxury ship that turns into a huge nightmare. but thats all igoing to say about the film otherwise to many things will be given away to easily !!

With great acting from Gabriel Byrne and Desmond Harrington its worth seeing !!!!!

Its very good movie - keeps you on your toes all the the way though and its not entirely predicatable. I'd watch it over and over again. Its a fiction movie not meant to reflect real paranormal investigations. But I think some of their ideas are quite accurate in fact and must have been researched with a paranormal investigator who knows what they're doing.

good basic horror story, not too complicated. good mix of the cast . a film you can watch over as you know you will have missed something.

good film have seen it before and wanted to re watch it as i cannot remember the whole thing but i remember thinking it was a really good film. If you enjoy horrors this is a good film to buy!

it is very frighting flim which i liked and plus i had one before, and it was damaged so i bought a new one for my husband. there is lots of blood in this flim so not for the faint hearted. it is based on a ship and body do appear like you would not normal see a human. and also moments were in the flim quite and and can make you jump i really like this flim and it is an 18 plus so think carefully would should wacth it. i would recomened this flim.

We decided to buy this film as we like horror films and Ghost Ship contains plenty of moments that will keep you on the edge of your seat and definately gets you thinking about what is going to happen next.
It was definately not made on a big budget that does not matter.

i always wanted to watch the film and at the price i couldn't say no!
fantastic ! it came within a few days and had a really effective cover which changed when moved from side to side. this made it seem very worth while for the money.

It keeps you guessing whats going to happen next,its captivating all the way, in keeping you on the end of your seat with fear and excitement,so its worth watching,so don,t miss its content its gripping tale its very jumpy.Seeya,db.

Cracking film....definately not one to watch on your own!!!!!! I like "edge of your seat" films but alot of them tend to go silly at the end...this one didn't......Definately one to watch behind your pillow!!!!!!!

i brought this film because i only watched the first haLF WHEN I FIRST SEEN IT , i thaught that it was great the bit i seen so i decided to bid on it , the film makes me think what it would be like to have been there "scary" was like it has great actors and is a well made film would recomend it to eny one.

i bought this dvd as it has ghost in the title and i like movies like this! if you get scared easily i dont recommend but if you do then you must see. i found this great with may twists!

Excellent Movie for people who likes scary staff.If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography.

A great film with lots of twists. It will have you sitting on the edge of your seat all the way through.
It has a great storyline and has great graphics. A+

I enjoyed this film, but my sister-in-law hated it! So whaddya know - you can't win them all...

Oh. I need to write more than that ... well, I found it a little graphic but the violence was justified & quite realistic. In other words it wasn't gratuitous. Quite a good twist that I enjoyed as well. Is that enough words yet?

I had seen this film on rental and liked it so I had a look on ebay to purchase it. I was a bit dubious because I don't normally buy dvds this way as the risk of getting a copy is quite high. However, I was extremely pleased with this genuine copy. The dvd was in excellent condition as was the case and the picture quality.

realistic special effects, a lot of scare scenes and suspense to keep you on the edge of your chair, or hiding behind a cushion. good story line, held a few surprises, worth watching more than once!!!

Ghost Ship is one of those films you can sit down with your feet up have a cuppa with a couple of biscuits! Once you get over the begining that is! It's great with some good twists in it it's well worth watching. An eerie ship and some nice looking chaps and a good story line what more could one ask for?!!

Bought this iteam because I loved the film and noticed the seller's feedback rating was good so knew I was getting a good service. Received the DVD in excellent condition and the delivery was within a dew days.

what are you talking about, the girls the only ghost ? are you blind ? everyone that died on the ship is a ghost silly and i would say about 150 or more poeple died on the ship

I found the film very boring after the first 10 minutes or so. So it was a bit of a let down. Reading the cover the film look really scary but i fell asleep. But please dont let this put others off!

what i thought would start of as your average scarey movie that we have all come to expect this day ..son turned into a fantastic film with many suprises you just wont see coming . the movie fantastic special effect while not letting them take over the movie and spoil your enjoyment of the naughtical tales the show themselves as the film evolves. the movie is wrapped up with a stunning ending which leaves you asking the question... why didnt i buy this film years ago ?
