Funny comedy that makes me laugh bought as cheaper than in shops
Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the all of the scenes great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography.

I love the series and bought this dvd to replace some videos, and to have the entire series in one neat pack.

There is nothing i dislike about friends! Every episode is fantatsic! I got the whole 10 seasons for my xmas! i could just watch them over and over again! i have loved friends every since they started and the episodes get better every time i watch them!!!

I HAVE BEEN A FAN OF FRIENDS EVER SINCE THE SERIES STARTED.I PARTICULARLY LIKE THE EVER CHANGING STORY LINES AS THEY EVOLVE OVER THE YEARS.IF I EVER FEEL DOWN IN THE DUMPS I AUTOMATICALLY PUT ON A FRIENDS DVD.MY ONLY DISSAPOINTMENT IS THAT THEY DIDNT MAKE A FULL LENGTH MOVIE OF THE SERIES,BUT THEN AGAIN SOME FILMS DO NOT DO JUSTICE TO THE ORIGINAL SERIES.I HAVE NOW COLLECTED THE ENTIRE SERIES WHICH WERE ALL BOUGHT OFF E BAY.

I am a dedicated fan of Friends so I was going to enjoy this DVD no matter what. This was the first opportunity I had to watch the series from the very beginning. I don't have all 10 seasons, but have seen most of the episodes and I liked watching the characters evolve.

It's a great way to escape from everyday stresses and strains and although it may not be the greatest comedy every written it certainly ticks all the boxes for me. I believe it to be a classic series; each episode stands alone and even my friends who are not fans like me, enjoy the banter and the one liners.

The Actors bring the characters alive and the fact they enjoyed their time on the series is self evident. It is clear all those involved were dedicated to the series and their enjoyment shines through in the performances and the writing.

Friends will not be to everyone's taste (what is?) but if you accept that it is a well written and well acted piece of work that enables those who watch it to escape for a while and enjoy the characters and situations then you cannot fail to enjoy the experience.

I miss the fact there are no more to come.

I have always enjoyed watching friends, so i thought I'd have a look in E-bay to see if there where any was being sold. Saw this DVD thought I'd have a go it was selling cheap so I bought it. Don't really dislike anything about it apart from maybe series 2 could have been included. Thanx E-bay

i decided to buy this series after watching some of series 3 and 4, i really wanted to know the rachel ross history, i bought series 1-4 on ebay and im hooked, i dont watch any tv apart from this, call me sad, but im happy, just dreading the END

me and my girlfriend love friends but cant afford the 150 pounds to buy the complete ten series box set so we,ve decided to buy the series 1 buy 1 off ebay, what can be said about friends that people dont know already, the box sets are brilliant as they allow you to watch then at your leisure. they would make a great gift for anyone who is a fan.

This comedy packed box set includes all the episodes from Series One--from our favourite coffee-drinking friends including the first meeting right up to the series cliff-hanger "The One Where Rachel Finds Out"--that Ross is in love with her, that is. Other highlights include: "The One With the Butt", in which Joey gets a big break as Al Pacino's stunt bottom; "The One With the Monkey" in which Ross acquires Marcel, his pet monkey; and the two-parter (amazingly called"The One with the Two Parts") in which Joey starts dating Ursula, Phoebe's twin sister and Monica and Rachel double-date cute doctors played by George Clooney and Noah Wyle from ER.

I wanted to replace my videos and this seller had the 1st series at a very good price and I won it! The postage and packaging was first class and the seller was very helpful with the payment details for me. I would cetainly go back to the seller for other products and would recommend any buyers to do the same.

I bought the boxset as I wanted to complete the series. It was a good price so I decided to bid. I love friends and watch them frequently

I bought the series of DVD's as I had decided to convert my video collection of all of the friends series to DVD's. I thought I could save some space in my evergrowing CD, DVD and Video collection and that DVD's last far longer than VHS. I opted for this particular set as they were brand new and still sealed. I am half way there now!!!!

Excellant choice of gift...upgrading from original VHS to DVD....the first of many! The beginning of a long 'Friendship'...much loved by all members of our family.
