NICE MOVIE BUT NOT EXCATLY WHAT I EXPECTED I THINK THIS MOVIE COULD BE SO MUCH BETTER I PAID NEARLY £10 FOR THIS MOVIE OFF EBAY SO I WAS DISSAPOITED WHEN I SAW IT I DIDN`T LIVE UP TO MY EXPECTATIONS SO NOT WORTH THE MONEY IN MY EYES

my son raves about this dvd as he has seen in it about a million times at school when it was rainging outside at break time. has never been out of the dvd player since i received it. thank you.

Anything from Aardman is usually very good. This was a great film and my children loved it. They didn't move from their seats the entire time! A nice family film.

This is a great film, our little fella is 2 and he loves it - its got enough laughs for the adults too and althought I have watched it at least 50 times already I'm not fed up yet!

I am not sure why, but the advertising for this film appealed to me and not having children I waited for the dvd!! Anyway, babysitting the other night and took it along and we enjoyed it very much... I would throughly recommend this film for children of all ages and for light-hearted entertainment for my generation - I am sure that my old Mum will enjoy it too... The film follows Rodney (Hugh Jackmann), a pampered pet mouse, when he accidentally gets flushed while his owner is away following a visit from sewer rat Syd (Shane Ritchie)... In the sewers Rodney finds an entire city populated by mice, rats, frogs, toads and singing slugs!! A James Bond style adventure follows when Rodney meets characters voiced by amongst others Sir Ian McKellen and Bill Nighy.. Then we have heroine and potential love interest, the feisty Rita voiced by Kate Winslet... There are lots of extras including interviews from the film Premiere and a Singing Slug Jukebox!! Happy Viewing!!

Great kiddie film, my son whos 3 really finds it funny...It has some great one liners that he remembers!!!
Bought it so can be watched over and over again....Has Shane Ritchie as Sid...

Children and adults alike love this whacky and silly film, a great comedy from this powerhouse of animation, if you love Shrek, get this!

i found this film a good laugh, it had lots of funny little parts mixed with the story,which naturally has a love story a good ending and enough story lines to keep you interested. a good animation to while away an evening.easy to watch.

Very good family movie funny and some great voices from some great stars. My son who is 3 hasnt stopped watching it he must watch it 3 times a day bring out a Flushed Away 2 pleeeease

excellent movie good family entertainment, son loved all the different creatures in it, it kept my son amused for the full length of the movie. would recommend for any 2 year old and older

I looked at the tv guide on my set top box a few months ago and saw that "Flushed Away" was showing on one of the channels. My fiancé thought it was worth a look whilst we were eating pizza. I thought I would hate it but I couldn't have been more wrong.
It is one of the most hilarious films I have ever seen in my life. It has typical slap-stick for the kids (which, believe it or not, I found funny too) and jokes and double entendres which are aimed at adults and which children would never understand, but would probably laugh at anyway just because you are!
I advise everyone, everywhere to watch it. Fantastically patriotic fun.

what a great movie the animation is terrific and for a kids film even the storyline is good i loved all the little gadgets that appeared in the movie made from everyday household products 1st class

Well worth getting the whole familty together for a great time sat watching this movie, especially the singing slugs- something for everyone.

I first saw this film with my daughter.It is an animated film and although the primary audience are the younger generation I think you could give this to granny and she would like it.The general story is about a house rat that gets flushed down the toilet (by shane ritchey who plays a rat)when his owner goes away.The rats only goal is to get back to the house before the owner comes back from holiday.The story line is good and there are some extremely funny moments.Good viewing for the family.

i like it, the kids like it. Easily watchable. Would highly recommend.It has Good graphics and animation. This film has my 2 and 3 yr old glued to the tv the whole time it's on, they adore it and i think they really like the little singing parts by the slugs too

I was working away and the kids said they wanted to see it...i bought it and according to my wife they watched it constantly for a week...no better reccomendation than that !!

brought this dvd with high expectations and it didnt dissapoint i have four kids ages from 11yrs - 12months and they all thoroughly enjoyed this film!!!i did too on a score of 1-10 i would give it an eight!!!

What a superb film, set in the sewers of London, it charters the highs and lows of the rat population. The film manages to be funny (especially the singing slugs!), up-beat, and - in a strange kind of way - realistic as to what might be under the streets of London. I think that it should appeal to children and adults alike.

We bought this film because we borrowed it from my father in law and lost it. So technically it was a replacement. However, we did watch it and love it and knew we would want it ourselves anyway. It has since been found and we ordered another one for a friend who borrowed ours.

Best bit (without spoiling it for you) has got to be the singing slugs.

Worst thing was losing it in the first place.
