At University Hospital School of Medicine, a group of ambitious medical students are about to die, and live to describe the experience.
Embarking on a daring and arrogant experiment, the five aim to push through the confines of life and touch the face of death. In their search for knowledge, however, the five discover the chilling consequences of daring to tamper with immortality.
This raises the question of what is beyond death. I like most of this film as it is superbly acted throughout and the subject matter is quite thought provoking but I have always disliked the ending as it is, to me, too religious. I had to buy this as I liked it for the creepy factor and the comedy amidst all the chaos. I do recommend it for those who wish to have something to debate with friends as I have had some interesting conversations with mine after they've watched it.
A really excelent film -- a little old now, but still has the capacity to thrill even though we all vaguely know the story line. The cast are all superb in their rolls and the film rushes along at a great pace and is over too soon despite being 1 hour 40 long. A great evenings entertainment.
exellent film did have it but sum how managed too lose thanks came brand new from supplier on ebay beats me why medical students would want too kill each other to be brought back to life
Ok this is good if you like supernatural thrillers and have an open mind.
Without going into too much detail as it would give the whole film away, there is some brilliant acting by Keifer Sutherland, Kevin Bacon, Julia Roberts ands William Baldwin.
i watched it and brought it as its a really good film. one you would watch over. julia roberts is in it and she is a good actress. got a lot of her films. tells a story about a group people who die and come back cheating death ,a crazy thing to do
