what can i say apart from bloody fantastic,excelent,rock n roll,etc etc..if you dont own this then you are a dick!.....better still and get the dvd aswell to SEE how its meant to be done...!

A must-have album for any Oasis fan, however in my opinion the record is spoiled because it is LIVE. Some of my favourite Oasis songs are here, but I really enjoy listening to the high detail of sound which can be produced on my hi-fi. For this reason, this LIVE record makes the sound seem muffled.

A brilliant example of how powerful a live band Oasis really are, this live recording from Wembley on the 'Standing On The Shoulders of Giants' tour is highly recommended. From classics such as 'Supersonic', 'Shakermaker', 'Rock & Roll Star', 'Wonderwall', 'Live Forever' etc through to newer hits such as 'Go Let It Out', 'Who Feels Love' and 'Gas Panic', this CD oozes class from start to finish. The mix the band have got is incredibly fat and powerful, with Liam's voice also spot on.
This CD is worth buying alone for the banter between band and crowd, particularly Liam!!! Definitely a must for anyone with an interest in the band, as nearly all the songs are better than the originals (maybe because now Noel & Liam have a real band with them, not just their mates! - highlighted by Andy Bells' superb bass work). The addition of 'Helter Skelter' on the end of disc 2 from a different gig is also cracking. I bought it, and am very very glad I did. I urge you you to do the same!

who cares if the album is so long it has to be changed half way through? shakermaker, supersonic, wonderwall, dont look back in anger, champagne supernova, cigarettes and alcohol. all there. all brilliant classics. and all performed at a time when any band is at its most nervous and tender. live. most 'performers' vocals, timing and general ability is limited at live venues after constant fiddling and refining is done in the studio with computers. not oasis. liam belting out gas panic in such a passionate way and noel doing the same with dont look back in anger must be appreciated and listened to even if it isnt perfect.
i cant think of many albums that are better value for money or that can be listened to all the way through more than once either on ebay or in the shops. just buy it. NOW. even better buy the dvd version and SEE it happening
