Fields Of The Nephilim - Fallen (CD 2002)

Slightly harder edge to the well established "fields of the Nephilim" sound which falls short of the thumping NuMetal thrashing wall-to-wall sound screen that is Zoon. Definately a welcome return to the "fields" formular that many fans doubtless prefer.

In true Nephilim tradition the album is laced with atmospheric soul-churning sound-bites and samples much like those that feature in the previous albums of "Nephilim" and "Elysium" which take you through a musical journey into the darker corners of the human psychie.

Worth purchasing if only for the new recordings of Darkcell AD and One More Nightmare (trees come down AD) and I highly recommend the Limited Edition Version with bonus Live CD featuring a new arrangement of Endemoniada, and the classics Last Exit for the Lost, Dawnrazor and the sequel.
