Moving home and consequent lack of storage space has finally forced me to replace my ancient and well worn/played vinyl collection. As a lover of most types of music ut rock/blues in particular, a Hendrix collection was a must. This album did not disappoint. Many classic vocals, such as 'Purple Haze', 'The Wind Cries Mary', 'Hey Joe', 'All Along the Watchtower', etc. And what about that superb example of Hendrix's guitar prowess??? 'Star Spangled Banner' where he makes his guitar sing!!!

Hendrix is a genius, and this CD cover most of the classic songs by him, including Voodoo child, and let me stand next to your fire.
The guitar is obviously fantastic, but Hendrix also uses a variety of other instruments for effect.
This is a top class CD, much better than some of the cr** out at the moment.
