Madonna - Evita (CD 1996)

An absolutely brilliant version of the stage play. Madonna and Antonio Banderas are superb in their roles. The only down side is that you do not get all the songs that appear on the dvd version, which is a shame. However, this does not spoil enjoyment as the most popular songs are all included. I absolutely, hand on heart, recommend this cd to you.

This is my favourite musical of all time, and this is the best version of it. Madonna is faultless, but the big surprise is Antonio Banderas - perfect as Che, and sounding very sexy! Fantastic album, well performed and telling a wonderful story.

I love this cd and thought Madonna was brill as Eva Peron. Great cd to play loud and sing along too.

I really like the Cd. I just can't wait to play it in the car.

Brilliant sound track, I have the dvd but cant play that in the car, so this does the trick, Madonna at her best! and Fab vocal's from Banderas, make this a winner..

This was a superb film, beautifully photographed with fabulous music. The soundtrack didn't disappoint at all. Madonna is at her best and I'm surprised she hasn't attempted anything similar since the release of Evita. I can listen to this CD again and again...

This is a fantastic CD. Its got the main songs from the movie on and i adore it. Okay it doesent have all the songs from the movie, but why pay about £15 for a CD with a few extra songs on?

WINNING PERFORMANCE. MADONNA WORKED FOR WERE SHE IS NOW SHE IS AN ABSOLUTE STAR. EVITA IS AN ABSOLUTE CLASSIC EXAMPLE OF A GIRL FROM NOWERE WHO END UP ON TOP.
