It might be stylish, it might be pricey but it does the job better than any other vaccum we've ever had. We'd had a Dyson previously, the drag around type that I just couldn't get on with. I wanted an upright and so chose a Vax (Mr F did that "you'll be sorry" thing). In truth it seemed o.k. Then we moved from a house with wooden floors to one with carpets. The Vax's limitations were cruelly exposed. So I convinced the Mr F that the Vax was broken and needed replacing. It's been a few weeks since we bought an upright Dyson and it's been worth every penny. I just wish e-bay sold something to wipe that smug look off his face every time he sees me with the Dyson. Debs.
