Dyson DC11 Allergy Bagless Canister Cyclonic Vacuum

I have always had a Dyson upright, I started with the DC03 then upgraded to the Dyson DC07 Animal until it was on its last legs (2 cocker spaniels with a lot of permanently moulting fur) so this little DC11 allergy had a lot to live up to!! first impression was wow!! what a nice looking machine, the tools are also onboard, very brightly coloured also with the Dyson trademark coloured parts that are removable in case of blockage and to be honest its not to heavy, it also has a suction control on the handle for curtain and delicates, I had already vacuumed when it had arrived so I thought that there wouldn't be much to pick up, It didn't feel very powerful when I started and the turbo brush makes a funny little squeal as the turbo brush starts, but when I looked in the canister I was really surprised at the amount of stuff that was actually picked up,
So would I recommend this Dyson dc11 allergy, Absolutely, I have now vacuumed all around my house and it looks and feels cleaner,it took a while to get used to as I have always had an upright and its nice not to have to keep changing tools as every thing is too hand, straight from the lounge to the stairs without turning the machine off. once again Dyson lives up to his name, I was lucky enough to have brought this at a very reasonable price and I would say that if you brought this in the £50 - £65 bracket you got a bargain.

pros - brilliant suction, doesn't throw dust around looks nice,(my daughter thinks its pretty) easy to use easy to store
cons -can't find any

I was a bit dissapointed after buying a Dyson for the first time.I had read all the hype and expected a miracle considering the price.I got an adequate vacuum with the DC11,plenty of suck but rather cumbersome and heavy to drag around.I would think it would do very well in a modern open plan abode but it was useless when I tried it on the car,the gadgets just were not small enough to get in the corners.All in all I think I would prefer one of the upright Dysons but then again I might be wrong on that one as well.

This is a great little vac, Dyson's are renowned for their quality and reliability and this is no different.
Great suction and filtration actually stops the house getting dusty!

Although small and portable this vac is a little heavy and it's small canister means it would only really benefit someone living in a smaller property.

Apart from that i'd recommend it!
