Bob Dylan - Down In The Groove (CD 1988)

I bought his album as a collection filler. It starts with a cover version of Bryan Ferrys 'Lets Stick Together'-with Dylan in fine voice. Other highlights include Sally Sue Brown and Death Is Not The End,which has been covered in recent times by Nick Cave. Ugliest Girl in the World doesn't really work and Silvio appears on his Volume 2 (2000) best of album. Ninety Miles (Down a Dead end street) vents his frustration at the world, Shendandoah has been covered by Bruce Springsteen on his Pete Seeger Sessions album and Rank Strangers to Me finishes off a relatively short album.
