More of Doc Martin's brilliant yet dry humor. The series is everything that the first two is, but i will warn you that i leaves you on a cliff hanger that you can not afford to miss.
A brilliant piece of English life set in a small village in Cornwall. This being the 3rd series of this fantastic piece of work with some really fine actors in the cast with Martin Clunes taking the lead role., this series cries out for MORE. I only hope it won't be too long before ITV does supply us with a third or even forth series, we can only hold our breath. "A must see series"
Set in wonderful Cornish village of Portwenn (actually Port Isaac), great characters and story lines carry on from the first and second series. Martin Clunes and Catherine Catz are outstanding as the 'ill matched love couple'. The sun is always shining, people are friendly - makes you want to sell up and move down there! Let's hope a fourth series is on its way.
All the doc martin series are great, this one was not different, although not sure what the writers were thinking of ending it the way they did! RECOMMEND THOUGHOUGHLY!!!!!
i brought the doc martin series as a birthday present for my husband. we have watched it twice now diffently good value for the price . will be watching many times more many thanks a great buy on e-bay.
Series 3 of Doc Martin is yet another excellent series to watch.
Martin Clunes is as rude, no-nonsense minded, and intelligent but lovably clueless as ever, another piece of great acting - by all the cast. In this series though, you'll start to see Martin's attitude towards Louisa begin to change as the episodes go on. In the last two series, you thought Martin would never change, since both series pretty much ended in the same way, with Louisa and Martin almost getting together but Martin managing to ruin it just by being himself. In series 3, you'll finally see Martin warming up towards Louisa - in his own way.
There are some great comedy moments in this series, some new characters like the new village policeman. Also you'll see some new plot lines like Bert Large's career change from plumber to restaurant owner, which again provides great comedy viewing.
This series isn't quite as emotional as the last, but there are a few tear-jerking moments to be seen. All in all a great watch, especially if you're a fan of series.
very good , every one should have a copy................................................................................................................
Having thoroughly enjoyed the first series, I was disappointed that some of the scripts in series 2 lacked sharpness. Series 3 was a chance to put things right, instead I found it as riveting as having to watch a firework display in the pouring rain. Save your money
I absolutely love this show and the third series totally lives up to it right until the finale. But I know for a fact that there will be another series. But unfortunatley Martin Clunes says he wants to take a break from acting so I have no idea when it will be back. Sorry. But I think deffinately still worth a purchase!
Hi I am still waiting for the delivery of this Doc Martin - Series 3 (DVD) Regards Robin................................................................. ................................................................................ ............................................................................... ....................................................................................
The relashionship between Louisa and Martin is hilarious and heartbreaking at the same, due to the depressing end to the series. However, with six other episodes to enjoy, and a 4th series coming out later this year, Doc Martin fans have plenty to celebrate.
If you loved the 1st 2 series then of course you'll love this one too, right up until the end that is. I'm not going to spoil it for you but the ending leaves it open for another series and personally I think its getting a bit long in the tooth now. I will watch series 4 but I can't help feeling that the writers should have brought things to a conclusion at the end of this series.
