Doc Martin - Series 1 And 2 - Complete (DVD)

I thought this was good family entertainment. Very funny series. Martin Clunes plays a brilliant role in this, He's very straight talking and seems to know little about people. He's very detatched from everyone and tries to keep it that way, except for a school teacher that he seems to be in love with. Due to him knowing nothing about people or knowing how to talk to people properly, his relationship with her is quite funny.
This is a series worth keeping. It's one of those series, where, once you watched it all you will want to go back to the beginning and start again.
I highly recommend this series.

Great series, some of which I missed. Now watching series 3 on ITV3. Martin Clunes is wonderful as Doc Martin (sorry Ellingham!) and the scenery is fantastic.

Doc martin is a TV series that I missed when first screened. I really like Martin Clunes and had heard this show was very good. Martin Clunes plays a grumpy but serious doctor and he plays the role brilliantly. It really is a serious comedy drama. There is lots to chuckle about but a very serious twist. You can play spot the medical problem in each episode, but you would not guess some of the extreme ones.
You can understand why Doc Martin is grumpy after you meet his parents and try and work out why the dog is insistent on being with the doc.
This is a good family DVD and a good way to find out how he started in the village of Cornwall.

I had never seen this series and thought it sounded good. Searched for the product and managed to get series 1 and 2 in a double disc set. Really enjoyed the humour and was interested in the medical side of the storyline as my background is nursing.

Good quality product giving me a great entertainment, as well as many laughs which did me good!

I missed the first 2-3 episodes then only managed to catch the odd one here and there so I purchased the complete series. The plan was to watch one each evening but it was so addictive we watched one after the other.

Great performance from all involved even the dog!!

Who doensn't like Doc Martin! What a great tv series, set in lovely surroundings, great funny actors, pure brillance & that's why I bought the dvd!!

I bought this as a christmas present for someone who loved the whole series. I know it is bringing much pleasure to them!

I brought this for my mum because she liked Doc Martin Series and thought it was a good price. it came in brand new condition and sealed, just like from the shop and would buy from this ebayer again because it was delivered fast and the description was exact on this item.

The series is very much taken from real life experiences. Everyone can relate to some of the goings on in this tiny little fishing village. Doc mart is hilarious once again everybody knows someone like him what you see in what you get. The characters are all wonderful . It is a real feel good factor entertainment. I never get tired of watching it. In my opinion EXCELENT !!!!
