Daft Punk, a totally unique type of electronically synthasised music. Great stuff!! Is well worth the money if you are into up-beat music with a difference. 'One more time' being probably one of the most well known tracks of its time!
this review should be 5/5, but 'perfect' is an illusion*, which this album only just escapes the clasp of. already adoring the majority of daft pnuk's material, remixes of their own and others' of theirs, i was guiding a friend through his early steps of Homework, and for me there's been nothing more replete with beautiful tracks than Discovery (of course he dug it)). each track has the body to be a single, getting feet tapping that feel like they've not tapped nostalgia to this tune for too long. hand in hand with this album should go an intrigue for Leiji Matsumoto's Interstella 5555, to which it becomes the score; my brother picked up a copy and vowed to get it put on at a clubnight nearby, giving the first time impact to himself, one and all. genius. if you've enjoyed daft punk before then give this solid album a spin. discovery: a hot contender for my desert island discs.
*superlatives are the bane of ebay, they obliterate sincerity.
I loved this album in my teens. The songs that I liked most on this album were One More Time and Harder better faster stronger. Fantastic album and a must for all fans out there!!
