I bought this to replace my last copy which got mislaid. This is PF post-Roger Waters; a great live album including stunning versions of most of the favourite Floyd tracks, notably (for me) the extended version of "Money". As a long-standing PF fan with most of the albums in my collection, I avoid buying compilations just for the sake of it but this is a worthwhile addition to anyone's collection.
Its Floyd what else can you say One of the worlds finest bands Does exactly what it says on the box Brought this one as a spare copy for the car Back in the days of LPs I had two copies that were played so much that they wore out
What can be said about DSOT? Well, if your a Floyd fan you should already have it so don't need me to tell you how good it is. If you don't have this great live album, then this should be your ebay purchase today! If you don't already have a good set of cans then get them too. Put your cans on, turn out the lights and immerse yourself into the show! From the first note of Shine On, to the last of Run Like Hell, this album doesn't fail to impress.
i purchased this for a friend. the main reason was it was so much cheaper than buying new in the shops. it was excellent value and works as good as new.
This Cd was purchased as a late Xmas gift. My brother inlaw mentioned he had tried to get it but had no luck. Myself and partner hunted around lots of shops and eventually got easy on ebay. Should have tried ebay first really!!! My brother Inlaws face when he opened it was fantastic!!! The product and service was perfect.
I brought Pink Floyd the Delicate Sound of Thunder CD for my brother as a birthday present. It was recorded live in 1988, and is a fantastic album - Floyd at its best. My brother purchased it as a record when it was released, but unfortunately the record got scratched and he was not able to replace it. I checked on e-bay and was delighted to see a mint, original CD with accompanying booklet. When i received it, it was floorless. My brother was speechless at the quality, the fact that i was able to get it and it sounds great. A wonderful blast from the past
A must have for anyone's dvd collection. A masterclass collection of songs from one of the world's most accomplished bands. David Gilmour is at his best on this album, playing some magnificent riffs on some of the band's best known tracks as well as using the full power and range of his voice on some of the lesser known, but still atmospheric numbers.
