Deep Blue Sea (DVD 2000)

I have watched this movie some time ago and I expected a lot more than I got. I would recommend to play it as a filler between another shots of vodka, when you chat with your friends and look at your tv from time to time. That's all I would like to say.

this is my daughter`s favourite film it keeps her amused for ages there some good twists and will keep you guessing

Loved this film when it came out & its still great. Its one of those films that just has something special. Good charecters & effects and not a bad story either.

If you liked Jaws or posiden, then this is a film for you. It may not be as good as those originals but it stands out on its own as a solid action/thrill ride. There are parts which are incredibly suspenseful, sharks are one thing but smart sharks...big trouble. I would recommend checking out if you like the big dumb type action/thriller, its predictable but In a good way, and the one liners are funny in parts. Samuel L Jackson's in it, you know it's going to be good.

this is one film that my son could watch over and over and over again. i thought it was a good film with a good story line and good effects. If you've not seen it its well worth watching

i like all the stars in it,film about a big fish that kills everyone.sometimes funny would of like'd it to be longer

Reasonable delivery time, but unhappy that item was described as new, but was received unsealed and in an unusual casing. Prefer items to be sealed and in a normal DVD casing.

I love this film, it has an excellent plot and is funny but also a bit frightening! I also love the ending.... very moving! 5 STAR *****

Whenever you see a shark movie you think of Jaws, although this film is not to bad its not great either. The film will keep you watching till the end, who will win the battle - man or beast?. It has some good moments and unexpected twists. Worth watching.

If you liked Jaws,then you will love this.The model sharks are a bit iffy but on the whole it is a very good film with some good performances from the actors.
It is about scientists creating super intelligent sharks whilst carrying out research into alzheimers disease.
My wife bought it but I like it very much as well!

the reason i bought this film was my son wanted it as he liks sharks but i find it very good as well, the best thing about the film is ll cool j he is dead funny all through the film. the only thing i did not like about the film was the fact you could tell the sharks were not real but is still a really good film to watch, if you are thinkin about buyin it i hope this review helps you.

this movie is a modern day Frankenstein/jaws, the actors are amazing a very believable film, there is nothing to dislike in this movie and i bought this film for my son because he likes sharks

Great Story Line, Packed with None Stop Entertaining Viewing!
This Film is about a Research Laboratory out in the Deep Blue where Sharks are captured to develop a Potential Cure for Alzheimer's Disease. With this research there comes a Fearful Side effect where the Sharks become Smarted and Meaner than Ever!
Its a case of you can Run but you can't Hide for these unfortunate researchers.
Move Over Jaws, this Film is Fantastic!!

I decided to buy this, because, I love the jaws movie's, this flim goes to your worst nightmare, 40 ft sharks who because of meddling as become smart, so putting itself at top of the food chain, three super sharks,
samuel l jackson, is great as the white collar , who meets his match with the sharks and the suspense as they try to get from there under water lab to safety, is as thrilling as all the jaws movies togeather, I highly recomeend it .

I BOUGHT THE ABOVE DVD BECAUSE THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. THE DVD IS IN PERFECT CONDITION IN QUALITY AND PICTURE/SOUND.
EBAY IS CERTAINLY THE BEST PLACE TO FIND BARGAINS AND ON ONLY TWO OCCASSIONS HAVE I HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH SELLERS, AND EBAY SORTED THOSE PROBLEMS WITH NO HASSLE FOR ME.

this is going to be a pressie for my son at christmas,talk about jaws with attitude !!! this is a fantastic film (made me jump a couple of times ) and its a fav of mine and my son especially as he loves sharks ,good story and quite clever how the sharks RULE ,well done

Firstly the model sharks are fantastic they look extremly life like, each one can swim with its engine. Every shark on the film that isn't animated is a model! The special affects are decent however sometimes the shark affects are poor! This film is defiantly the best attempt to follow Jaws so far. LL cool J acts decently and so does the gawmless Tom Jane. The gore isn't too dramatic since 50% of its animated.

The plot is based around an underwater facility where genetically enginered sharks escape, eat, flood the facility and try to escape into the ocean. A peticulary good and ironic part of the movie is Samual Jackson's speech/epitaph!

bought for my son who is only 2 but is shark daft i bought this film along with others and they are already giving him hours and hours of entertainment

Not the best of films but can be good to watch if you're really bored. The acting is poor, especially with LL Cool J trying his best. Over the top story and a rather dull ending. They kill the shark. Hope I didn't spoil it for you.
