) i bought the above item as i am a fan of the group ,the CD is a gem and the style of music content is so different the songs are recorded in a studio ,the sound is amazing ,i play it in the car ,when listening to it its better with the sound turned up high.
i havent got anything negative to say about it,it is really a must for all REM fans .listen and enjoy

REM having fun!One of the best things about the CD release of Dead Letter Office is that it includes their first ever release: the "Chronic Town" EP. The rest of it is a mixture of 'lost treasures' and late night jams of variable quality - including three Velvet Underground songs - that were B-sides or left off the early albums.
If you like the IRS-era-REM - before they became superstars - then you'll find some rewarding and interesting stuff here. If you thought 'Out Of Time' was their first LP then you might think this is all a bit silly.
