i have been a paul weller fan for twenty years and already have this album but over the years it has worn out,so to be able to replace it for next to nothing was FANTASTIC.
if you like Paul weller this is a fantastic CD to buy. It has an array of songs both from his solo career and from the Jam. Great to have in the car too. Would recommend this CD.
Strange feeling liking sunsets, collecting sounds of every day living, and then comparing to this album, not a downer album just complications brought to the surface and made simpler, his tones are wild, but an impeccable range of his voice makes you shiver, great music luv the endings each one his treated to a big finale leading to a big build up of excitement for the next track.great to the point of being classic all the title is saying Days of speed, but it means Days at speed, living fast but collecting fast memories.
I bought this because I am very selective about the music I like and only have about ten favourite tracks from various artists. Paul Weller's "You do something to me" is one of them so I wanted hard copy of this after loosing all my tracks on MP3.
I bought this for my hubby because he loves the song English Rose. The album is great and we enjoy listening to it. He says I am his English Rose. Sweet.
I think Paul Weller has established himself as one Englands finest modern singer/songwriters,so for a few quid you can't go wrong with any of his albums and Days Of Speed was one I hadn't got. The album features a good mixture of his talents as a singer/songwriter and is very pleasing on the ears.
