Iron Maiden are the greatest heavy metal/rock band that ever lived, they have conquered the world many many times over. Dance Of Death is Awesome, right from the start, there is a true blend of heavy metal from the three guitarists Adrian Smith, Janick Gers and Dave Murray showing what true talent they really have. With the storming bass from Steve Harris and the kick-ass drums from Nicko McBrain and totally explosive vocals of Bruce Dickinson the album is heavy metal at its very best.
this is iron maidens 13th studio album. and there are few better than dance of death. a delectable balance of traditional maiden, topical themes and their first ever fully acoustic song. the stand out tracks are wildest dreams, rainmaker, no more lies, montsegur, DANCE OF DEATH!,PASCHENDALE! and journeyman well thats most of them anyway. i love this album because it states that maiden dont give 2 ****s about what the should be releasing and whats commercially benificial they jut come out full guns blazing and hit you with what you as a maiden fan love and what they enjoy playing. i decided to buy this album because i am seeing them live at earls court in a few weeks and this was one of their only albums i havent got (i now have 13 out of their 14)i didnt think anything could follow brave new world but this certainly successfully if not bettered it. i would recommend to anyone to buy this album and if you get the chance don't turn it down.
could it get any better than "brave new world" well yes it can with dance of death. the band as a whole have really matured using a full range of the usual gutsy rifts and tune topped off with excellent acoustic tracks such as journeyman, something perhaps you would not put to iron maiden, but in the normal fashion absolutely brilliant and to think people just think they play heavymetal / rock. well worth buying can a matter of life and death exceed this ? we shall see
top marks to the maiden boys.yet again another classic .if u is a fan of maiden all i can say is this album is top like all others id rate it as good as brave new world .if u not a maiden fan and wondering how this album is ..where the hell u been for the last 30 years u missed so much ..
This is another great sounding album from Maiden, with the mix of new and old songs. The art work and inner sleave are good as well, with Eddie in his usuall place... .at the for-front of things!! There is nothing to dislike about this album as I am a fan of Maiden and have been for years.
